I have walked by myself and with others. In my experience, I can tell you that its an easy, and safe walk, with street lights. The check-in process was very simple, and the owner provided thorough instructions for check-in and check-out procedures. The location was convenient. My friends and I elected to uber to our destinations, but you could very reasonably walk to the Stockyards with little difficulty. Decorating was great! The vicinity of the house to the Stockyards was wonderful - not really walkable, but a very short 4 min drive. Feb 1, 2024 #### Best vacation house ever My entire family including my spouse, sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren had a grand plan of traveling together to Fort Worth for the first joint vacation in 22 years. My granddaughter spotted this house and it was perfect for the 8 of us. I always travel with disinfectant, lysol wipes, etc. but I certainly didn't need to in this case. The house was immaculate and set up nicely for everyone to have their own private spaces yet the living room and kitchen were perfect for our midnight chats, too! There is a park a few blocks away and the weather was nice enough to walk down and through the park on their paved trail. It was a short drive to everywhere whether it was going to the Stockyards or Dickie's Arena for the rodeo. I sent a few emails to the host, David, with some questions and he was super responsive each time.
