Great chinwags with host David, a kind fellow. A very generous breakfast cooked to our liking. Great location, within walking distance to High Street, the Abbey, Chalice well and the Tor. Nice extras were a bathrobe and instant coffee/tea in the room. Thanks for your recommendations for local restaurants. Very pleasant stay.

Perfect for our stay! Lots of stairs; if you have heavy bags, get ready to lift them, but other than that, it was great! Loved the area; everything is within walking distance.

History... Amazing past to have experienced. Location and parking easy. Staff were extremely helpful whether it was directions, or even helping with heavy luggage up/ down the spiral staircase. Very happy we started our English countryside vacation here. It just set the flow for everything to follow.

The couple who own this hotel are welcoming and hospitable. The bedroom and bathroom were a really good size for this part of the world, and both were clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was excellent, served in a light airy room. Although it's located in a small village, the hotel is within a 15-30 minute drive of many of the places people come to Somerset to visit - Glastonbury, Wells, Bath - which makes it a good touring centre: I was able to visit them all in a day.

This was a lovely place to stay for the one night that I needed it. The room was nice and warm which I appreciated as the weather was wet, cool & windy while I was there. Bed was also very comfortable and I felt content to be in my room for the evening. It was a nice bonus to have access to the meditation room and a small library of wonderful books. Good selection of breakfast items too. Easily walkable to everything I wanted to see in Glastonbury.

Great service. The front desk was great. Room was clean and service at the restaurant was top drawer.

We had an excellent stay. The accommodation had an awesome rustic feel with newly renovated, clean rooms and the restaurant below was also fantastic. The location was beautiful and close enough to walk to the Stourhead and take in the stunning gardens. Staff was also very kind and helpful. Cannot reccomend this place enough!

Nice comfortable bed lovely location and great food offerings. Beautiful outdoor sitting areas with covered patios and fireplaces.

Friendly owner, decent breakfast, clean rooms. If I would make any suggestions, it would be to have a luggage rack or large shelf in the room as there is limited space to lay a suitcase flat other than the bed.

This is an excellent affordable option if you want to visit the holy sites in Glastonbury on a budget. It's a 45 minute walk over Wyrryl hill to the Tor and Wells. There is decent shopping close and a bus you can get to Wells. The bed is comfortable and the rooms have very good facilities ifr making tea and coffee. The water is hot and it has reliable WFI. The staff is friendly. I will stay there again for sure if I'm in the area.

Wonderful Inn. We only stayed one night but would love to have stayed longer. Room was cozy, staff were friendly and the food was delicious.
