It served its purpose for a one night stay near where I had business. Check in ok. Check out didn’t get asked one thing regarding our stay. Not good customer service at all! Dated property but I already knew this. Breakfast fine. Older waitress stomps around and gives orders to her more pleasant young staff. Unprofessional & noisy resetting tables & no apology bumping my chair. Shower tiny, bed comfortable. No real warmth from any staff during the entire stay. Shame as us Scottish are normally so warm and welcoming.

Extremely dissappointed hotel was u going a badly needed refurb which was not identified at booking if so we would not have selected the Bruce. However staff could not have been more welcoming which dulled the pain a wee bit. Thankfully it was only a 1 night stay abd as we prepaid we stayed!!!
