"We had a wonderful week. Maria and her husband are fantastic hosts. Throughout the week they checked everything was alright and asked if we needed anything. The breakfasts that Maria delivered every day were fabulous, plentiful and freshly prepared. We had freshly prepared tarts, fruit, homemade jams etc. The house is perfect for two, set in beautiful gardens, with the use of a small swimming pool.We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we visited the same area in the future. "The Hotel is located over the river from Chinon, so a good location for visiting the town and exploring the area. There are 3 parking places outside the hotel but there is a secured off-site car park for hotel guests a short distance away. We visited during the very hot weather in June 26 and our room was very warm at night as a consequence, an electric fan is provided which we had running all night. The breakfast is traditional French fare and very good quality. There is also a courtyard garden which is ideal for relaxing in or taking your breakfast. There is a wide choice of restaurants available in Chinon and we used Bistrot Fauve in the main square, which is associated with the hotel."
