"I booked this trip thru Expedia because it was rated 8.0 Very Good. The pictures made it look like it has been renovated and were very professionally staged. In actuality, most of the grounds other than where the pictures were taken were very tired, worn, and littered. We arrived around 3 PM and were only the second car there. The person at the desk was professional but difficult to understand. He let us know that the restaurant (which contained the billiards table, the fireplace, the bar, and virtually everything shown in the online pictures) was closed. He sent us all the way around the back, as far away as possible from the office. When we drove up to our room, there was a bag of trash sitting out front of our room (which remained there at least until 10 PM). The floor was tiled, not carpeted. and somewhat sticky. The bathroom had a cabinet top sink that was held onto the wall by metal brackets, no cabinet, with a shower stool under it. The handle on the door was falling off and the overheard switch and light did not work. The amenities were fine, and the water was hot. The furniture all had dings and marks, looking like ity came from a secondhand shop. The edge of the bed frame had a gooey brown blob on it and the bed side counter had a white sticky spot as well. At night, other people had arrived and you could easily hear them through the walls (and then again in the morning). Breakfast was unattended. bed was l;pumpy, but we slept OK, so no problem there"

"We arrived late and the staff was very nice and friendly. We found our room and parked in front of it. We are 2 women traveling. There was an unsettling moment with a car that rolled by very slowly and stared down my daughter. They ended up in the room next to us. My daughter was very nervous. The security guard that is mounted to the door jam was half falling off. I tried to turn the deadbolt several times but it didn't line up. Not a safe place for women to stay. If I had one good thing to say, it's that the beds are very comfortable. Very limited amenities in the rooms. Our TV did not work. Red Roof Inn is a no go for us from now on"

"Unfortunately I awoke at 1:30 am to a rustling sound in my room. When I grabbed my phone and turned on the flashlight I saw a mouse run in front of the television and disappear behind the dresser the tv was sitting on!! Needless to say that ended my stay!"

"Not well maintained. Shower in bathroom has old with moldy caulking. Bathroom walls at base were very chipped and falling apart."

"Parking was good and a hand cart was available and easy to access room. We have a small dog so keeping her homemade dog food cold was cold was important. Breakfast was the best we had on this trip! The room was clean and I liked your type of pillow choice."
