Great stay

Room was great, staff very helpful. A bit of a labyrinth to get around to restaurant

Clean room, good breakfast and friendly staff.

Loved the Black Walnut Inn. I would love to go back. The rooms are lovely. Breakfast is delicious. A very generous spread. Self-serve tea and coffee is available at all times in the dining room area. There are also treats one can help oneself too. Chocolate chip cookies our first day and molasses cookies the second. Meghan bakes the best cookies. Seriously, the best. The owners are very warm. If we visit Amherst again, staying here would be our first choice. Thank you.

Simple and clean. Everything worked well. Good channel variety and service was excellent. Breakfast was very simple but satisfying. Thank you for a great stay!

The carpet left black stains on shocks and feet

A beautiful property meticulously looked after by the owners. Heather and Jason were warm and friendly hosts who went beyond expectations to look after their guests. Looking forward to returning.

We stayed 2 nights at Hotel UMASS. The staff was beyond amazing. My family had booked the wrong room through a 3rd party and the minute I explained what happened they adjusted my room no questions. The hotel was clean, comfortable and well maintained. I can not recommend this hotel enough.

Beautiful! You do have to ask to have your room cleaned, which is surprising but everything was perfect other than that.

Clean room and hotel.

Check in was excellent with nice staff. Our room overlooked the lake behind the hotel and included a balcony. Facilities were well kept and bed was very comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was your standard free hot breakfast. Overall, more than I would expect for a medium-low budget hotel.

La chambre était trop petite pour le prix par nuitée Mais sinon c’était bien
