Fabulous Property—Felt Like Home
We were at the Penmon Farmhouse for 9 nights in November. We received a warm welcome and had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. The historical character of the house and neighborhood was charming, and we really appreciated the cleanliness and amenities provided. The time passed quickly and we were sad to leave. I would highly recommend this property for a vacation rental, and would definitely choose it again if our travels took us to the island of Gozo. Thank you to our hosts, Mark and Lidia, for offering up this beautiful updated “farmhouse” to travelers.

Perfect stay
The villa was booked as a surprise for a 60th birthday party - 3 couples and more than matched expectations. The villa was an imaginatively converted old farm house. An eclectic mix of modern and traditional styles located in a very quiet village. Mark, the owner/manager, answered all emails quickly and timely. He was also able to arrange our transfer, by taxi, from the airport to the villa.

Gharb - Penmon Farmhouse - BRAVO!
As two family consisting of 8 persons the Penmon property in Gharb was perfect. The property itself was spot on with a lovely balance of traditional and modern. The swimming pool was delightful and a great size and the water temperature was perfect for us. Our families spent hours and hours messing about on the water. The location in Gharb was ideal walking distance from the restaurants and local grocery stores. Gharb is a lovely small town very traditional. Communications witht eh owners (Mark and Lidia) was perfect. Penmon Farmhouse was perfect for us and we really recommend it to all of you that may be considering spending time in Malta and Gozo!

Fabulous 2 weeks. Plenty of room and very comfortable. Hosts were very helpful and responsive when we had problem with WiFi (due to windy weather). Amazing places to visit. Would recommend highly to friends and family. Only improvement would be better glasses to enjoy delicious Maltese wine and also a dishwasher- not a problem though! Thank you Mark and Lidia!

Great villa
The villa was lovely, plenty of room for everyone and having your own bathroom is nice. The pool is a bit chilly as other reviews have stated but it’s not too bad. The host was very helpful with any issues we had and responded quickly. The directions to the villa were a little confusing but we got there in the end. Overall we all enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Mark was extremely helpful with airport transfers and car rental arrangements. He kept in contact during our entire stay, making sure our experience was good. The house and neighborhood is wonderful. We hope to have the opportunity to stay here again.

Midwestern Americans Visit Malta
The entire experience was a positive one - from the check in process to check out was positive. They met us at the property, gave us a tour, gave us tips on where to go for dinner, and get supplies, and even helped line up some tours and rides. The property was very unique, very clean, and very comfortable. Location was great - small village in a rural setting. One morning, we walked through the fields and visited with farmers. One morning, we walked to the Citadel. Highly recommended!
