"The Sandman is just "fine" -- the room was a bit shabby, and the walls are thin, but we appreciated the pool for our two active kiddos in the afternoons. It is "family friendly" insofar as there is a pool and nothing is too precious, but there was not much open space for kids to play safely other than the pool, so I would only recommend if you're literally only looking for a place to sleep. "The pictures make it look much nicer than it is. it’s really a motel with a small aging pool that has hot-springs water. We thought it was very overpriced. However the location is great, the bikes, sauna and spa were good."
