The rental is located in a chalet style residence of 7 apartments, including an entrance, a living room with TV lounge, wood stove, kitchen (dishwasher, multifunction oven, coffee machine, fondue and raclette), a terrace of 11m ² facing south-east with superb views of Gerardmer and the ski slopes, bedroom with double bed 140cm with wardrobe, a bathroom with a sink and a bath / shower, a separate toilet, a storeroom.
On the floor, a room with bed 2 people 160cm and a big cupboard storage, a mezzanine with bunk bed 2 people.
A possibility of sleeping for 2 additional people can be envisaged in the mezzanine (clic-clac of 140 cm).

A private parking space in the basement and storage room for skis and shoes. Private outdoor parking.

Apartment located south, 10 minutes walk from downtown and the lake. Free shuttles in winter in the city center to access the ski slopes.

About the region:
A mountain region and lakes, close to Alsace. You can reach the nearby Alsace in an hour's drive. From the pass of Schlucht you can discover the famous wine route through Kaysersberg, Ribeauvillé or Riquewihr. Colmar is nearby, known for its half-timbered houses, its Christmas and Easter market, its canals (Little Venice).
In Gérardmer, the alpine ski area of ​​La Mauselaine, is located 10 minutes by car from the apartment. You can indulge in the pleasures of skiing with 20 tracks and 40km in the Vosges forests. Free shuttles (various pickup points in town, 5 minutes walk from the apartment) are organized throughout the winter season to access the ski area. They work all weekends outside school holidays and every day during school holidays (weekends included).
You can also practice cross-country skiing (100 km of tracks on the Gérardmer and Xonrupt-Longemer areas) or snowshoeing in the Vosges forest. Whatever your level of fitness, you will be immersed in this fabulous natural setting. At the end of the day, you can enjoy local specialties in the many restaurants of the city.
Gérardmer is also its lake and a multitude of activities. The nautical center allows you to practice windsurfing, canoeing, paddle. You can also register, why not, your children to internships. Opposite, the supervised beach with diving board, slides, games for children offers you all the comfort to fully enjoy the pleasures of swimming.

For the more athletic, Gerardmer is ideal for the practice of Trail and mountain biking. The city has become a reference for its trail, mountain bike or triathlon events.
