Hotel Zaza Houston Museum District

Hotel Zaza Houston Museum District

8/10 Good
"Nice property. Convenient shuttle to locations W/in 3 miles. Cons: 1. air handlers in room are quite loud; 2. tv remote only had one battery. repeated calls to several depts yielded only busy signals, front desk clerk clueless. promised engineer never showed. After dinner calls still yielded busy signals…no one picked up in any of four departments. another visit to front desk finally yielded, after 20 min. wait, an engineer with new remote."

"A perfect stay. The room was incredibly spacious, beautiful and modern. The bathroom was also excellent. Great value for money. Incredible staff, who were extremely accommodating and friendly. The bar and restaurant area was beautiful. If I’m back in Houston I’ll definitely be staying here."

"This was a great choice for our long weekend trip to Houston. It is in a convenient location near the Museum District and Rice Village and while it is near several hospitals we didn’t find it to be too noisy. Definitely avail yourself of the light rail if headed to the museums or the beautiful Hermann Park. Rideshare trips can take a bit long to arrive due to all of the traffic lights so plan for that if you aren’t driving. The restaurant and bar also offer a pleasant atmosphere but are not open for late-night dining or drinks."

"Mostly great stay! Easy and friendly check in, large and comfortable rooms...very nice to have a suite. Cold AC, comfy beds. A few tiny snags....no one answered at guest services when I called, unsure if this was a no one at the desk issue or a phone issue? I called from my cell and got someone. Room service is to go (man, I really miss proper room service!) and just ok, my coffee was cold and no butter for my toast. I don't mind paying extra for room service, but I'd love to receive everything really hot and presented well. Overall, I would definitely recommend this property....pricing was very reasonable for uptown Houston too!"
