"My room had character and a great view of the Abbey. It did get warm and it was not obvious how to open the windows. The building is old and that is reflected in the rooms and the multi-flight access to anything. Back door to the ramparts was a bonus. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was filling with breads, crepes, fruits, eggs, cheese and meats. Stay was pleasant."

"It was an awesome experience staying on the island …. Only a few steps up from the entrance to Mont Saint Michelle. The room was large, bed was very comfortable, and a great shower. "Basic but clean and cosy. Would have preferred porcelain cups for my hot drink... paper cups made it rather challenging. Bit of a hassle getting out of the gated area in the morning, a long line of cars and campervans all held up because of issues with the exit console that seemed to plague everybody. My third attempt finally succeeded. Breakfast was great food. Friendly and helpful staff."
