We never received the information through Expedia about the check-in process. When we arrived at the premises, the name on the sign was different than the name of our hotel. It was a guest who told us we were in the right place. We finally got a code because someone else had a phone number that we could call to get our access code. When we walked into the room, there were no lights or heat. We were told that so many people were using heaters that the power kept kicking off. I can’t imagine what they must’ve done over the summer if they don’t have enough Electric for the heat. We had to go around to the back of the building find the electrical box. After that things were good until about 4 o’clock in the morning when neighbors were checking out and shining their lights into our windows. Everything at this location is extremely close together, so it can be rather noisy.

We stayed in the units that were more like a motel than the nice places out front. But we had trouble finding them. The signage was poor. There was absolutely no one available to help us. They had no one on location, but a number to call. When we called, then did not respond. The rooms were clean and seemed to have been remodeled in recent years, but they were spartan and lacked any personality. The furniture was cheap. They had access to the lake but nowhere to sit and enjoy the lake or read a book. The area was covered with midges (Canadian soldiers) which were harmless but annoying. There was nothing they could do about that. An overall rating of two out of five stars. Save your money.

If you are in Cleveland for an event at the Rocket arena or the baseball stadium there is no better place to stay than at this property. It was a 5 minute walk to the show. The property is very secure and you need a key card to access everything. Take advantage of the parking pass, because traffic and parking is a nightmare. Colin was a good sport helping me with my many questions, the most important thing to do is read the directions before you arrive so you know to pick up the key and parking pass on Prospect street not Euclid lol. Property was very clean, beds were comfortable and we had a great stay. Cleveland is a beautiful city and we loved our visit! The apartment is dog friendly but only for smaller (35 lbs) dogs, fortunately there is a place called Dogtopia right next door and they boarded our pup for a couple days. It was perfect.

The room was clean and everything you needed was supplied. Checking in was quick and earlier then posted. The only downfalls are the outside signage was hard to determine if we were at the right place. The property is being remodeled so there were a few things that weren’t completely finished in our room but the price was right and located to everything in GOTL. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

It was not a bad day. The freezer door handle was broke, which is no big deal to close the bedroom door that was also broke. No big deal the fact that there was nobody there to talk to and your automated system failed to give me my passcode and we were locked out was a big deal. In the parking was horrible. The fact that we have to park across the street was unheard of for any of my other friends that were up there.Somebody should check your messages before they go out. That is my input.

This property was in the perfect location. I was able to walk to everything on the strip. It was right on the lake and it appears to be newly remodeled inside. It was very clean. The place had all the necessary amenities, including microwave, refrigerator, and a hair dryer! The staff was very helpful! I will definitely be returning to this property.

Upon arrival they were accommodating by allowing us in early which was much appreciated. However,upon entering the first issue was the damaged porch. They said It had been damaged in a storm the previous week. We weren't notified in advance and discovered upon arrival. It was unsafe. Roof was propped up with a 1×6 board. The front wall broken in half from floor to ceiling & side wall completely shifted, resting on edge of a part of the block foundation. There were brown liquid drip marks/stains coming from the electrical panel in one of the bedrooms. There were balls of dust, dirt &dead bugs under all furniture. The shower poured water to the bathroom floor. Fortunately we had brought towels for the beach because we used the ones provided by the cottage to dry up all the water our first morning there. The advertised private beach was covered in trash so we didn't get to enjoy it. The bathroom sink is useless to brush your teeth. There is a shelf directly above it making it impossible to brush your teeth in there so we used the kitchenette instead. The in wall AC units were filthy. One of them had odd crusty build up around it. Don't know if that was mildew, mold or a mineral build up from moisture.The refrigerator handle broke off when we opened it. A discount was promised but never received.They simply said they had done their part and that I should reach out to Expedia. Even the solution was passed on for me to handle. Paid over $600 for two nights of disappointment.

The Lake Breeze Cottage was sufficient for us, especially for an abbreviated stay. A queen sized bed was stuffed into each very small bedroom, so maneuverability around the bed was a challenge. But, it’s a bedroom & it served its purpose. The enclosed porch, with 2 chairs, provided a wonderful view of the lake. And the “beach” is literally just a short walk away. The kitchen is equipped with a small refrigerator, a microwave, and a 2 burner hot plate. Parking is adequate.

The outside of the property was poorly maintained. Our patio was filthy- no chairs-steps to the lake were barricaded off. The inside of the room was clean and nice. Bed very comfortable. Difficulties with closing the bathroom door.
