Would visit Gdansk again but wouldn't stay here

Location says its 'in' the old town - this isn't the case, although it's only 5-10 min walk to the old town, its actually in a residential area with lots of high rise apartments surrounded by run down buildings and waste land. Doesn't feel safe to walk around alone at night. A benefit of this is the flat isn't near a main road or night life, so it is very peaceful. Check-in office isn't on site, it's quite a trek (in rain and snow in our case) to go from train station to check-in office to flat. For this reason alone I wouldn't recommend this flat. Flat has radiators, but no means of operating them - turned off. There is hot water for the shower, however no means of changing temperature (no warm or cold shower options, only hot). Flat has everything you need and well laid out, and bed is comfy. We requested the bedding and towels are non-bio due to allergies, they didn't back to me either way and didn't do it. We took our own bedding/towels. Gdansk is lovely, and well worth a visit. However there are better areas to stay, so I wouldn't recommend this apartment.

Fin lejlighed, nemt og hurtigt check-in.

Fin lejlighed, lidt slidt i kanterne, men intet af betydning. Savner måske en mikroovn/ovn i køkkenet, hvis man vil lave mad på egen hånd sætter det en del begrænsninger. Der manglede en seddel med wifi password, men det blev løst på 2 minutter med et opkald til apartinfo som straks sendte en sms. De er ved at bygge ny boligblok lige ved siden af, det giver lidt støj fra morgenstunden.

Sodowa Apartments

Fikk ingen opplysninger hvor jeg kunne hente nøkler til leiligheten. etter tlf samtale med Sadowa fikk jeg beskjed at nøkler kunne hentes 1,6 km fra hvor jeg stod. Fikk feil leilighet etter hva jeg hadde bestilt. Tok kontakt med Sadowa igjen og fikk beskjed om å komme dagen etter. De kunne ikke gjøre noe der og da. Da jeg tok kontakt dagen etter fikk jeg beskjed om å ringe selv til Hotels.com for å få bekreftelse på rett leilighet. Dette tok ca 2 timer. Måtte ringe Hotels.com 2 ganger fordi de måtte først ha bekreftelse på rett leilighet samt hvem som skulle betale for ekstra service. Fikk ingen hjelp fra Sadowa. Men god hjelp fra Hotels.com. Måtte også betale ekstra service som de kalte det på 100 zloty. Fikk en rabattbillet fra Hotels.com på kr 350,- Nok. Sadowa Apartments vil jeg nok ikke anbefale andre til å benytte seg av. Skal reise tilbake til Gdansk 8 til 10 januar 2019 og vil ikke benytte meg av Sadowa Apartments. Men finne en annen plass. Har dere noen gode forslag?

Trevligt ställe Med perfekt läge. Incheckning sker på annan adress vilket inte var så långt ifrån boendet. Väldigt trevlig personal som var mycket hjälpsam och smidig utcheckning när allt var över.

Leiligheten var grei, men det var byggearbeid utenfor hver morning. Dusjen lakk, og det ble ikke vasket i leiligheten. Når vi skulle reise fikk vi Mail om at vi måtte betale 200 kr i vaskegebyr og skatt for å overnatte. Eneste positive var beliggenheten. Vil ikke anbefale dette stedet

Mycket bra läge

Nära matvarubutik och kort promenadavstånd till gamla stan. För 4 vuxna och 4 barn var det bra med 2 sovrum och barnen i bäddsoffor. Plus för att det finns 2 badrum. Liten balkong utan möbler, men vi var mest ute. Något sliten utrustning i köket, men fungerade utmärkt för att ordna frukost.

Bra boende i Gdansk

Boendet var kanonbra. Centralt. Vi åt perfekt frukost på Hotel Sadowa. Vi fick fel adress till kontoret där vi hämtade nyckel. Det var lite minus men personalen var trevliga och hjälpsamma.

Saimme eri huoneiston, kuin varasimme. Erittäin hyvä sijainti. Mahdollisuus myös käyttää hotellin saunaa ja uima-allasta, tosin emme ehtineet kokeilla niitä. Huonoa: kuoppainen vuodesohva, jossa pystyy juuri ja juuri nukkumaan pari yötä. Tyynyjen sisältö oli ajat sitten muuttunut muutamaksi möykyksi. Kylpyhuoneen omituinen haju.

Nice hotel near to centrum.

We stayed 5 days. It was interesting that the reception isn't at the same address. We ordered a taxi to transfer between airport and hotel. The city is nice, there is lot of historic buildings. Poland is cheap country. There weren´t so much shopping centres that i asumed. That was disappointing. The city is quite clean. Streets is in bad condition.
