The highlights for us were the private decks and lake views, direct lake access, and the large supply of lake gear that included life jackets, water shoes, a large water mat and a baby float. With several small children, this safety gear enabled us to take all the kids into the lake. The kids enjoyed it so much. The home was well-equipped with large living areas and we had everything we needed. The hosts were really exceptional, very gracious, proactive and responsive to issues or questions that came up.If you are thinking about renting this home, be aware the driveway is gravel and very steep - some will find it difficult to go up and down. The backyard is wooded, keep the bug spray handy. If you have toddlers you may want to bring security gates to keep them corralled on the deck. If you love a natural setting, this rental is for you. We loved the house, the location by the lake, and the hosts."

"The property has about everything you need for a relaxing lake get away. We had an absolute blast with our kids and grandkids. There were 3 adult couples and 3 children. It slept everyone comfortably. I would definitely recommend this escape to anyone wanting a peaceful escape. "

The house was very clean and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with all the essentials (and more) that we needed. It was well decorated and furniture was all very comfortable. The WiFi worked excellent. Would definitely stay again!"

"Great stay for a last minute getaway! House is well stocked with everything you need. Host was quick with check in details and we were able to access the house with no troubles. Bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and the game room. Could use a big fan in the game room but opening the doors provided a little breeze. "

"Pool is a 1min drive or 5min walk from rental house. Thought would be a hassle but wasn’t. Plenty of parking. Kids liked the walk; I preferred the quick drive.Pool is cleanest we’ve ever seen! Hosts should give lessons to pool owners! Kids enjoyed diving/jumping board. Everyone enjoyed lounging on floats. No shade over pool; enjoy the sun. Covered patio next to pool for shade. VRBO understood the assignment. Paper plates. Dishwasher-safe plates. Plastic cups and cozy coffee mugs. Non-stick pans. Spices but no oil; managed. Soap at every sink. Laundry basket full of freshly-cleaned beach and bath towels – directly next to front door. Views are amazing! A few flies but that’s just July. Cell service very good for being so secluded! Loved the bare surfaces! Counters are uncluttered; guests have room to spread out! Family (4) in downstairs bedrooms 2 & 3 connected by a double sink bathroom. Other family (4) in upstairs bedroom 1 connected to large bathroom with laundry. Total gathering of 14 aged 11-75. Didn’t use b-room 4. Can’t remember b-room 5. No one slept in crow’s nest, but a fun hangout spot. Appreciated the curtains in bedrooms, for darkness! The hosts are very nice. They’ll chat if you’re chatty type; but they’ll leave you to your own time if you’re on the shy side.A few additions – an air pump to inflate pool floats, oil in kitchen, updated couches, repair handle and water on main fridge. But those items are minor or for the future. We plan to book again!"
