"The cabin was spotless. Kitchen was fully stocked for any kind of cooking. We had a couple of minor issues but Jamie replied right away and got them addressed.Arcadia is a quaint old town. We had dinner at some really good restaurants - Brothers Fish House and Slim's BBQ were awesome! Got some home baked goods from the mennonite ladies at Martin's Conmuntry Store too.Some things for other renters to be aware of: 1 - The cabin is on a pretty long dirt road. It wasn't an issue for us because we live on a 1/2 mile dirt road but I know some people freak out over driving their cars on dirt roads. 2- the cabin is not right on the river. The property goes down to the river but the river is not visible from the cabin. Again, not an issue, just something to be aware of.My only recommendations to the owners are: 1- it was raining when we got home one evening. The mat at the front door was wet and there is no mat inside the door to wipe your feet on. 2- the mosquitoes are just starting to get thick. All of the outdoor furniture was outside the screen. We moved some inside. You might want to consider leaving some of it inside the screened area except during the winter when mosquitoes are sparse.Thanks for sharing your little slice of country with us!"

"Great place to stay. Clean, safe and plenty to choose for breakfast. Staff greeted us even though we arrived late. The social room was great with free wine and beer and snacks in the kitchen - which was needed!"

"Perfect location for antique lovers and pet owners!Arcadia is an antique lovers paradise and once a month the town hosts an amazing antique fair with hundreds of vendors as well as the local year round shops. What better place to stay than an antique cottage in the historic district!The hosts of this quaint cottage have provided everything their guests could possibly need for their trip and if you have forgotten anything or have a problem Pia is just a message away. We stayed for two nights and were able to walk to all the antique shops and fair, as well as pet friendly restaurants with patio dining. The entire large yard in back of the cottage is completely fenced and we felt very comfortable with walking our dog after dark and in the early morning hours.This newly renovated cottage is clean and decorated with comfortable vintage style furniture and bedding. The loft area with additional sleeping and sitting area is accessible via steep old style stairs that are reminiscent of the old colonial homes.As antique enthusiasts traveling with a dog we found this lovely cottage the perfect spot for all our needs. We highly recommend this location as it also offers easy access to many other local attractions."
