"We arrived a few hours early and asked about early check in, the front desk clerk said it would be $15 an hour for each hour before 4pm. So, we decided to go and get a bite to eat, after a brief discussion we decided to return to the hotel. as we attempted to check in the front desk clerk told us that the establishment had no hot water and they thought that they may possibly have it the next day but in the mean time we could boil water. We declined and asked about a total refund, I was then told because I had a 3rd party booking there was nothing that they could do. I immediately called Hotels.com who responded with "We have to contact the property." At this point I have received an email about a $25 credit. This is totally unacceptable. Because I haven't gotten any satisfaction I have called my brother Esquire C.E. Dukes to deal with this foolishness. I actually blame myself for this mess, in booking this hotel I thought that I was booking a Hilton Homewood Suites property, not a place using the area that they are located in (Homewood) in their name with the word Suites. This is trickery at its finest. Stay away from this DUMP!!! And maybe hotels.com for letting stuff like this happen!!!"

"The front desk staff was wonderful. The two free drinks were a great bonus. The free dinner was ok, but couldn't eat there two days in a row. Breakfast was ok too, but not a lot of choices. The room was clean, but we could hear everything going on in the hallway. Overall we really liked it there. Not perfect, but very nice. I would recommend it."

"Nicely set up hotel room with mini kitchen staffed with items you might need. Difficult to get into portico/entrance area with F-150 crew cab. Guest ahead of us scrapped his truck on a yellow pole and we had to multi-point turn to get out unscathed. Staff seemed responsive. Our complaint here was actually with Hotels.com. When you advertise that your pricing is grand total, you need to include extra fee amounts such as the $25 parking fee!"

"We only stayed for one night, but we really enjoyed this beautiful hotel and our hotel room that was nicely decorated and very comfortable and quiet. The staff was very helpful at checkin and thorough in giving us information we needed for getting around the area. The only drawback is that there was not a bar area which I understand is under renovation. We will definitely stay there again when we attend an event in the area"

"Overall, our stay was pleasant, and most aspects of the accommodation met our expectations. However, there were a few issues that affected our experience. Upon entering the bathroom, there was an unpleasant odor coming from the shower area. Additionally, our room was located on the second floor, and the shower did not provide any cool or cold water—only very warm to hot water was available, which made showering uncomfortable. We also noticed that there were no extra linens provided in the room, which would have been helpful during our stay. Aside from these concerns, everything else was satisfactory. The property was otherwise comfortable, and we appreciated the overall experience."
