"Well the VRBO website was down so check in was difficult and the owner was unavailable at the time we arrived. The cabin inside was clean but you should plan on bringing TP, paper towel and things like that. (There are stores nearby ) The control for the AC is not in the downstairs cabin where we stayed so we got hot at night and the porch facing the lake had not been swept or cleaned in awhile. The price and the location made up for the inconveniences so I’d definitely book again."

"The location is very secluded. It is about an hour outside of Tuscaloosa along a windy, hilly road in a natural area. There are no stores nearby so plan accordingly and it is off a small dirt road with the sign set off the road marking the turn. Some of my guests had issues finding it in the dark because GPS is spotty and there is not great cell service in the area, but we had no issues finding our way in the daytime. "The owners/property managers thought of everything! We packed s’mores and board games/cards, but the home already had that waiting for us! The house was clean and rooms comfortable. Easy access to the water and floating dock with kayaks and a paddle boat. We had campfires every night with wood which was provided, and spent our days on the water. We will definitely be returning!!"
