"We were very happy with our stay. We knew there was no elevator and after a long travel day we were dreading hauling our luggage up a flight of stairs. There was no option to request a main floor room but without even asking Alice offered us a complimentary upgrade to the main floor. She was so sweet "

"Everything was excellent. The only suggestion at all that would help is handicap toilets and grab bars. My Mom was on a walker and had difficulty getting up off the stool. No complaints about our stay and will definitely stay again. "

Perfect little home from home

"We stayed in this home for our honeymoon and we couldn’t have chosen a better place! It had the amenities we were looking for like being close to the lake and having a hot tub; but it turned out to be so much more than we expected! Everything about the house was beautiful we loved it so much! We used the hot tub most nights and sat on the side of the pool during the really hot days. The water was still pretty cool this time of year. You do have some neighbors BUT it has the feeling of being super secluded because there’s a hill you have to go over before getting to the house! We would totally stay here again and again!"

"I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I have stayed in many hotels and motels across North America and in other countries and had no issues at this location and I can be quite picky. The building is clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly. They have pet-friendly rooms with ample amount of outdoor space for dogs to run around. The breakfast bar and coffee were a nice extra feature."

Clean and comfortable

"Very clean, very helpful staff. An older hotel which has not been updated, but price reflects that. Bed was fresh and comfortable. Concerns (from viewpoint of an elderly person): no elevator, low toilet, no grab bar next to toilet or in shower. Family members had room facing pool. Swimming lessons started at 7 am. Most folks are ready to get up and go by that time, but my group had hoped to sleep in. For the most part - a pleasant experience. The staff member who helped us was very knowledgeable about places to eat on a Sunday night and steered us to a perfect site to watch the eclipse."
