Funchal Hills, a Home in Madeira

Funchal Hills is a fully restored traditional house located in a quiet residential neighbourhood in the amphitheatre of the city of Funchal and is ideal for families and groups of two to four people.

The house is approximately 60 m² and consists of two spaces, one of which has a bedroom with a double bed, a small living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. The other space has a bedroom with two single beds, a small living room and a bathroom. The two spaces can be used separately within the same booking — ideal, for example, for two couples.

Outside, there is a patio and a roof terrace with sweeping views of the city and the sea.

The house is equipped with refrigerator, washing machine, ceramic hob, oven, microwave and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, TV with international channels, among other amenities to ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay.



📍 NEIGHBOURHOOD

The property is located in a quiet urbanization overlooking Funchal Bay, approximately a 10-minute drive from Funchal city centre and 15 minutes from the airport. There is a restaurant about a 10-minute walk away and a bakery and cafes about a 15-minute walk away.

An independent part of the house is reserved for the owner, who shares the yard.

Weekly maintenance cleaning, including a change of bed linen and towels.

The accommodation does not have air conditioning.

We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance covering cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent their stay.

If you have special needs or allergies, please contact us before booking so we can confirm whether we are able to accommodate them.

Due to the island's location and climate, the presence of insects is natural, and they may be attracted by food scraps. We kindly ask that you keep surfaces clean and food properly stored.

For those sensitive to mosquito bites, we recommend using repellent when getting around the island.

An online pre-check-in form will be sent to collect the identification details required by law.

In-person check-in is by prior appointment. We will wait up to 60 minutes after the scheduled time; beyond that, it may be necessary to arrange a new time.

So that we can resolve any issue promptly, we ask that you report any faults or cleaning shortcomings immediately. Reports made after check-out may no longer be verified or resolved.
