The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We always looked forward to the meals because the food was delicious and great conversation with the staff. They made us feel at home, I wished we had stayed longer! It was my fiance’s birthday and they made it as special as possible, they made him his favourite dish and had a birthday song performance that left him beaming from ear to ear. It was truly a memorable stay at Zanzi. A beautiful hideaway from the world, the villa was spectacular...

Mizingani Seafront Hotel

Stone Town

10/10 Excellent

We really enjoyed our stay here although it was a bit on the short side. We were very pleased with the service (manager and his staff were very willing to help us with anything) and also that they allowed us to keep all our baggage in one room (we had 3) until the afternoon when we left for the airport. Excellent food for breakfast! Great pool area and decor was in keeping with Stone Town. The AC didn't work in one room so that was a bit of a minus but if we had stayed another night, we would...

Michamvi

10/10 Excellent

It’s a lovely spot in a quieter/less built up area of the island. There are options for restaurants nearby (including The Rock restaurant, only a couple minutes walk down the beach) although not as many as some of the more developed areas. The hotel itself is lovely and clean. A nice breakfast is served right on your balcony which has amazing views of the water. No issues with the wi-fi. The staff were very welcoming. There is no A/C; we were a bit warm with the fan windows open but not...

The Neela Boutique Hotel Stone Town

Stone Town

10/10 Excellent

The Neela is truly a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the bustling Stone Town. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the quality and attention to detail at this remarkable hotel. The food was nothing short of outstanding—honestly, some of the best we’ve ever had. Every meal felt like a fine dining experience, with flavors that left a lasting impression. The staff were exceptional—attentive, warm, and always ready to go the extra mile to ensure a memorable stay. Their service was...
