"I just want to start off with a HUGE thank you to the staff at this facility!! I've traveled to many islands in the Caribbean & Asia- the Nungwi Dreams has been the best stay EVER! The staff is kind, friendly, knowledgable/intelligent, catering, they all remember your name- I can go on and on!! I learned so much about Tanzania/Zanzibar & Africa in general from the staff, which kept me mentally stimulated- always a plus!! The facility is clean and well kempt. The food, hookah (shish) and drinks are tasty- I had the lobster pomadore 3 times. The chef baked a mini cake for my birthday & sang to me in Swahili!!! The entertainment provided by the local tribes/people is stunning & beautiful to watch. If you are a beach lover like me please take "swim shoes" with you (although the hotel provides)- the water can be a bit rough during the high tide and there a MANY sea urchins that you will need to dodge by wearing shoes. I spent most of my time by the pool which isn't typical for me, but was able to go in and out of the ocean during the low to medium tide. Special shout out to: Mark (manager), Simai, Victor, Baraka (bartender), Latifah, Akia, Daniel, Jaha, Charles, Lisa, Khatib, Tatum & the pool guys (didn't get their names)- you all truly made my stay as a Solo traveler the most amazing thus far (this was my 3rd solo trip). I will be back at some point- hope to see you all there! Thank you!!! "
