As I already checked in online, it took them a while to find my reservation. They even couldn’t find our reservation. After a while she finally gave us a room key but when When we went inside the room somebody was already occupying the room. Have to go back again to the reception counter and they have to find another room for us. There is not much choices of the food as well, it’s not worth the money. It is also very hard to find a parking space

Overall, I found the hotel charming and quirky. It's about a 5-minute walk from the train station and a similar distance from the beach, so it's really convenient. It's quirkiness is in its layout. It covers more than one building (I think), with walkways between them. It's a bit of a rabbit warren, but you're given a map on arrival. The staff are friendly and helpful. My room was on one side of a courtyard, on the second floor. At street level was the, erm, street (or, at least, a pedestrianised public area). It was on the small side, but was plenty for what I needed and worth the price I paid. I was very close to the reception area. On the up-side, this meant I didn't have far to go to get in and out. The down-side was that practically everyone staying at the hotel had to pass my room when entering or leaving the hotel, which sometimes made it hard to relax. I didn't eat dinner at the hotel but the breakfast buffet was great. I'd recommend the hotel for those who like a place with character and aren't looking for high-end luxury.

As we did not originally book this hotel for our Fuengirola holiday due to our original booking being cancelled elsewhere, we was apprehensive due to the very cheap price and some of the reviews regarding evening meals. However upon arriving at Ona Las Rampas we couldn’t have asked for anything more, the hotel is beautiful and authentic, staff are polite and friendly, the breakfast was sooo good every day. The evening meal was a little hit and miss with some nights being better than others but this depends on your preference. The maids did a lovely job at cleaning each day and the services we revived for the price we paid was surprisingly good. The only down side was that there are no way near enough sun loungers around the pool and even though there was plenty of room for more, we and many others were having to lay our towels on the floor in order to sunbathe and chill around the pool. Other than that, fantastic stay and great location with a 3 minute walk to Fish Alley and a 4 minute walk to the beach! X

Loved the authentic spanish style hotel, so clean. Staff were amazing. Lots of variety for breakfast. More umbrellas around the poolside for shade please. Definitely recommend this hotel

Unfortunately the last 2 days I received over 50 mosquito bites. I did inform the receptionist and they gave me spray. But they are so tiny you can’t see the them. Nevertheless the staff were excellent and I would recommend.

Love the white Andalusian pueblo feel to the hotel. We found it quiet, although right in the middle of town, which was very handy for shopping. It was also very close to the beach and the prom too. Close to the train and bus stations. There were many places to eat in the town and along the beach front.

The hotel is in a fab location, 25 metres from the beach and a minute walk to train and bus station. Hotel was very clean, breakfast was ok. The biggest disappointment was the pool being closed!! If we had known this, so if they had put on their site it was closed due to refurbishment (not a water ban) we wouldn’t have booked here as we love to sunbathe by a pool. A lot of the guests were complaining. So please get it advertised that your pool is closed!

This is a lovely Spanish hotel, clean and comfortable, attentive staff. What was dissapointing for me is that the pool was closed, inenof the reasons i booked it. I will stays there again, oroviding the pool is open.

Everything was good except they have alot of mosquitos and ants. I could've sleep the first few days until the hotel gave me spray which is not good for health and i had to buy another repellent. The other thing is that alot of noises especially in the morning and people and the staff shut the doors in very awful way . You can't sleep from those noises. Also the walls has no insolation you can hear neighbors tv and conversations

Great Hotel.
Great hotel near to the railway station, town centre, beach and in a very quite area of Fuengirola. It is an exceptionally clean and welcomely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is quite grand once you get into it, although a little dated and the rooms are basic. The pool was out of commission. My air con didnt work when i got there.

Disappointing visit with no pool available
I really like this hotel but the pool was closed off for building work when I was there with no date for reopening. The pool area is important for somewhere to sit and read and relax as really there is no outdoor place to sit at this hotel other than a shared terrace which was crammed with all the sunbeds.

Lovely hotel
I love this little hotel, it’s very quaint. However the pool area is closed and there was no mention of this when booking. Works are being carried out. This is disappointing at this time of year as always nice to sit and read late afternoon
