Location to Shenandoah National Park was ideal-- the surroundings were serene and beautiful. We utilized the lovely hot tub, and made a fire in the fire pit for roasting marshmallows. Tons of natural light, pretty views and while it has a cozy feel, it's also decorated beautifully. My seven year old said the loft and the other bedroom he slept in looked "like something out of a dream" 😂 there is plenty of outdoor seating, but not as much inside eating sitting area, and while the kitchen has some good cooking tools (especially for it's size), if you're there in the winter when it's too cold to eat or grill outside, it may be easier to eat out. The lights over the fire pit give it a really nice feel, and there was plenty of dry wood, which was great for us to hang around the fire and make s'mores. It's super convenient to get to Shenandoah from the cabin, and considering the cabin is up on a mountain, the road to get there isn't bad! Also no issues with cell service. Spacious and exactly as pictured. Beautifully decorated. Enough dishes and glassware, good selection of pots and pans, and even had a few cooking basics (oil, sugar.) Beds were comfy. Had separate pool towels for the hot tub. Had laundry supplies. We enjoyed the hot tub and loved the cafe lighting over it and the fire pit! While we didn’t use the fire pit - it rained while we were there - there was plenty of chopped firewood and it was covered. The location is great, too. Downtown was only 15 minutes away, plenty of wineries within 30 minutes. Kayla was a lovely host! She answered my questions prior to booking and arrival. The house was clean, the hot tub was hot and ready, and the fire pit was perfect for relaxing in the evenings.
