"The room was spotless. Staff was fantastic. The parking on site was a luxury we later discovered during our 4 weeks in Italy. This was our first night after our flight from New York. The goal was to dine at Pepe in Grani. The hotel an easy 20 minute drive to Caiazzo. Hotel Plana did a great job and lived up to its past reviews."

"The location was ideal, train and taxi stand was 20 metres & you can walk there.. The Palazzo Reale was 100 metres walkable distance. Everthing was close, shopping, supermarket and restaurants. Our room was renovated and modern. A full continental style breakfast was included. It’s a convenient and comfortable hotel. Do not expect a Resort, or spa style. Happy with our choice."

Great place to stay before a flight out of Naples. There are some restaurants nearby for a bite to eat and also a convenience
Store. Did not get to enjoy breakfast as our flight left early.
Comfortable beds. Clean. It’s in a main road so some street noise is to be expected. Fyi, despite Expedia says, there is no airport shuttle. They will call a taxi for you however. It’s about 20-25€ to the airport.

Beautiful Hotel. Location was great. Walking distance from the palace and across from a lovely park. Only thing missing was an iron or steamer from the room.

The place is great! Centrally located, host Alfredo is excellent (just like the other reviews stated). Metro, train, a and airport "ali" bus are right there. It is located in a very busy and famous square so there are many people everywhere, as well as traffic, noise and litter. However the rooms are on the 5th floor so they aren't really affected by it. A bit difficult to find but here is the easiest way. Get off the bus or train/metro and walk right to the very visible statue of...

We had such a wonderful stay at il Divino! The room was extremely clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious.
What really made our stay special was the amazing host. They were so welcoming and helpful, gave us great directions and recommendations, and even allowed us to store our luggage after checkout, which made our last day in Naples so much easier.
The location is also excellent — close to Napoli Centrale and in a lively, convenient neighbourhood, making it easy to explore the...

The best area to stay in Frignano is the town centre, particularly around Piazza Municipio.
This central area is the heart of Frignano, offering easy access to local amenities and a glimpse into daily Italian life. The Piazza Municipio is a key landmark, surrounded by shops, cafes, and local eateries. It's a convenient and pleasant spot for those who enjoy being in the middle of things.
For couples looking for a relaxed experience, staying near the town centre is ideal. You'll be able to stroll to local restaurants for dinner, enjoy an evening passeggiata, and easily access public transport for exploring the wider Campania region. The atmosphere is generally quiet in the evenings, great for unwinding.
Solo travellers will also find the town centre a good fit. It's a practical base for exploring the area independently, with local shops and services readily available.
When is the best time to go to Frignano?
The best time to go to Frignano is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months.
During these periods, the weather is pleasantly mild, with comfortable temperatures that are ideal for exploring the local area and enjoying outdoor activities. You'll find the countryside lush and green in spring, while autumn brings beautiful colours to the landscape. These seasons also avoid the peak summer heat, which can be quite intense, and the cooler, wetter winter months.
Couples looking for a relaxing holiday will appreciate the quieter atmosphere outside of the peak summer season. The mild weather is great for leisurely strolls through Frignano's historic centre or enjoying al fresco dining without the crowds. It also allows for comfortable day trips to nearby attractions like the Royal Palace of Caserta or the Phlegraean Fields.
For travellers interested in local culture and traditions, these shoulder seasons often coincide with local festivals and celebrations, offering a more authentic experience.
