Best hotel stay on our trip to Ireland . Spacious bright garden room . Lovely comfy pillows , duvets and beds. Roomy clean washroom with bathtub . ( not just shower ) Pool and sauna are a welcome bit of relaxation. Outstanding breakfast selection. Parking included and handy . For golf worshippers it is practically opposite Adare Manor. Originally booked one night but stayed for two !

Breakfast was the best in Ireland and I am Gluten free. Absolutely delicious. Breakfast bacon was perfect not overdone. Mushrooms were so good. Views are stunning and staff are consistently so friendly and welcoming. My favourite place in our Irish Stay !

As a solo traveller this accommodation was wonderful. Kate is incredibly kind, hardworking, and accommodating. She allowed me to check in much earlier and the room was absolutely spotless. I felt very safe during my stay. The breakfast was delicious and there were a lot of different options. I regret not staying a few extra nights! Overall I loved my stay at Ach na Sheen and highly recommend it to other travellers, especially solo travellers

Our stay was just overnight to attend a family event.Hotel was warm & comfortable,very comfy bed,large room with a wonderful river/city view.Storage space ie hanging space for clothes is very limited,washbasin tap does not clear granite,therefore is difficult to access & leaks into surrounding area.Toilet was difficult to flush.On reporting this on checkout,receptionist removed parking fee...a nice touch!We would certainly stay in the Clayton again.
