Located in the Historic District, The Homestead consists of two homes (The Main House and The Carriage House)two cottage suites (The Stables # and #2) and is ideal for couples, large groups, family reunions, or friend retreat. The combined 9 bedrooms sleep 18 comfortably in luxurious beds with a total of 7 spa-inspired baths. The Space: The Homestead, originally built in the 1880's and just one block off Main St., is a stunning luxury estate which has undergone a recent total renovation. Located in the Historic District, The Homestead consists of two homes (The Main House and The Carriage House)two cottage suites (The Stables # and #2) and is ideal for couples, large groups, family reunions, or friend retreat. The combined 9 bedrooms sleep 18 comfortably in luxurious beds with a total of 7 spa-inspired baths. The Main House has four bedrooms (two kings, one queen and two twins), three luxurious marble and granite baths, a large kitchen-dining room-living room, and two outdoor gathering spaces, including one with a fire pit. The 12-foot ceilings create an expansive feel to the home, but the highlight of this historic home has to be the private, underground, fully stocked wine cellar! The Carriage House is situated directly behind the Main House and consists of three bedrooms (two kings, two twins), two luxurious granite and marble baths, a well-appointed kitchen, dinning room, and living area. Enjoy two additional outdoor gathering areas, one of which has a fire pit. The two cottage Suites (The Stables 1 & 2) are situated in the rear of the property and each have a romantic equine inspired decor, seating area for two, a king size bed with chandelier above, a luxurious marble and granite bath and a kitchenette with under counter fridge/freezer, sink, coffee maker, and microwave. A private fenced front porch with seating for two provides cozy seclusion and privacy. The Stables each have designated off-street parking spaces just steps from the door. The Homestead Estate has a large driveway provides off-street parking for eight vehicles. This Homestead is in a prime location just one block off Main St. Shops, Wineries, and restaurants area all just a few minutes walk out the front door! Guest Access: ✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $53 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.5 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional. To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots. For a more flexible and relaxed wine-tasting experience, the 290 Wine Shuttle provides a convenient way to hop between wineries, departing from downtown Fredericksburg and making stops at select wineries every 10 minutes on Fridays and Saturdays. Main Street serves as the heart of the action in Fredericksburg. With over 150 shops, boutiques, and art galleries, visitors can peruse a wide array of unique offerings.
