Meier Haus (once known as Haus Wilhelmina) is rich in history. Originally built for the Meier Family, this house was the 1st Kindergarten and the 1st B&B in Fredericksburg! Be part of the history by making this charming home your vacation destination!

You will fall in love from the moment you walk in the door. Meier Haus offers guests a remodeled open floor plan with a wonderful living, dining, and kitchen area, all while maintaining old world charm. Additionally, guests will discover ORIGINAL wood floors, ceilings, and moldings throughout a large portion of the house. The main home has a beautiful master bedroom with private en-suite master bath. The second bedroom boasts five large windows bringing in an abundance of natural light. The third bedroom is an attached suite connected to the main house by a small breezeway.

All this on a magnificent, tree covered corner lot just blocks from Main Street. Perfect for friends and family to gather on vacation in beautiful Fredericksburg, Texas.

Perfect spring break with family
So much fun with our kids and grandchild! Short walk to Main Street, great wineries and food. The kitchen is well stocked so we cooked most of the time. S’mores in the fire pit. Played games. Horseback riding only 20 minutes away. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you to the owners!

Thanksgiving in Fredericksburg
We spent the Thanksgiving holiday at Meier House with our family. We had such a lovely time in this beautifully appointed home. Nancy and Jason have created a lovely environment for their guests. It is obvious that they take pride in this home and ensuring that their guests have everything they need. From crisp, clean white linens to a beautiful spray of Fall pumpkins draping the doorsteps. We had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner prepared in a chef’s kitchen. From serving dishes to potato peeler, we had everything needed to prepare a lovely meal for our family of 9. Though we were not able to use the fire pit due to rain we plan to be back soon to enjoy the backyard and this cozy home. Nancy and Jason were very communicative throughout our stay. Before arriving we received and incredibly useful digital guide about the home and the Fredericksburg area. Thank you for an unforgettable weekend! Our hearts are full.

Perfect house!
We really enjoyed the comfort and location of this house. There was lots of room for our group of 5. The backyard was terrific with lots of seating and giant shade trees. An easy walk to Main Street was a great part of the house too. Highly recommend!
