Summary:
Stay in our converted Victorian School nestled in the hills of the quaint harbour town of Fowey. A 5-minute walk gets you to the centre of the main village and local attractions.
The classroom flat is part of ‘The Old School Studios’ and is self-contained for privacy and relaxation.
Our property is ideal for family vacations, a couple's getaway, or business trips that balance work and play.
The Space:
Our recently renovated Victorian school is unique, generously spacious and bright. From the exterior, it’s a schoolhouse. However, once inside, it’s your holiday home. Kick back and soak in the gorgeous Victorian architecture with lashings of high-end, industrial interior design.
That flat comes with a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and bathtub, and a large television for entertainment.
Our home faces gorgeous garden views. There’s also plenty of space for entertaining, both inside and outside of the property.
The harbour town of Fowey is 100m away.

Guest Access:
The flat entrance is around to the right of the property, attached to the main house. You will have access to the flat and front entrance garden only.
The back garden, including the hot tub, is only accessible to guests of the main house.
The Neighborhood:
It's a 5-minute walk down the hill into Fowey. You'll find a selection of independent shops, fresh local produce and plenty of restaurants and cafes.
You can hire a boat for £20 and travel up and down the famous Fowey waters.
The Eden Project is a short 15-minute drive away.
The property is in an extremely quiet neighbourhood—you can hear only the sound of waves crashing at night! Please be aware of this when entering and exiting the property. Loud music and other noise after 10 pm is strictly forbidden.
Getting Around:
Parking access is located on 'Hanson Drive.' Please follow the signpost for 'The Old School Studios'—you may park here.
Parking access is not via Daglands Rd, so don't head here on your Sat Nav!
Walk through the gate across the footpath and enter the wooden gate labelled 'Old School Studio'. The flat is straight up the garden path and round to the right. Please find check-in instructions on the listing :)
The best way to get around Fowey is by foot. There are plenty of walking routes around Fowey with so much to see.

Please note: you may see other guests staying in the main house & annexe. Be respectful and ensure you do not disturb other guests and neighbours.
The property is situated in a pleasant, quiet town. It's perfect for relaxing, but not suitable for loud or noisy guests. Please keep this in mind when booking this property.
We may require a deposit for single-night bookings, last-minute reservations, and large booking groups. This can be retained for noise complaints, unauthorized parties, excessive uncleanliness, or damage beyond normal use.

The classroom flat is spacious, well equipped and wonderfully situated, being minutes walk from the harbour and shops and not a long drive from other attractions. As mentioned in the listing, it is part of the main house, there doesn't seem to be any soundproofing between them. Getting a good night's sleep is at the mercy of your neighbours keeping to the guidelines, sadly ours did not.There was a problem with the heating, however, communication with the hosts was good and they arranged a gas engineer very promptly.

A comfy settee, it slopes forward and is hard to sit on. Difficult to improve but if you had a noisy group in next door it would be difficult. We heard every word of their conversation whisky we say in our lounge. I get that they are just the other side of the door. Felt a bit intrusive though, although they were not a noisy group of girls at all, which was good.
