Just opened! With a King Bed “getaway master suite” upstairs, and two bedrooms on the main level, this house will ensure an exceptional experience beyond just a typical VRBO stay. As one of the most creative interior designers in the area, Kathy is a highly rated Superhost and completely renovates her houses with an unusual level of inspiration, personal artwork, magnificent design, and conversation pieces. Incredibly clean with comfortable furniture, new appliances, and all new mattresses.

We traveled for a boys volleyball tournament at the War Memorial Coliseum, which is less than 10 minutes away. 4 teen boys slept upstairs: 2 shared the king bed, 1 on the day bed and room for our twin air mattress for the fourth. Bonus: they had their own bathroom upstairs! The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra throws/quilts. The sofa actually is a sofa bed, so there is extra room to sleep someone there. The kitchen had everything we needed and those chocolate chip cookies are delicious and a welcoming touch! This was the perfect place for our party of 7 and splitting the cost between our 2 families, provided way more comfort, space and privacy than 2 separate hotel rooms, for less cost. The washer and dryer downstairs was also handy, with detergent and dryer sheets provided. The extra hooks on the backs of the doors is a really nice touch and the luggage racks in the bedrooms as well. Check-out seemed almost too easy compared to other places we have stayed. Why would anyone go to a hotel when you can stay in this beautifully decorated home away from home?!

Fantastic stay at this beautifully decorated home. Everything was exactly as pictured and described in the listing. The first few nights of our stay were during a heatwave, but the house was nice and cool when we walked in. The upstairs suite was a bit warm in the afternoons but cooled down in the evening with the help of the additional air conditioning unit. We all slept comfortably. My teens loved the extremely fast internet connection. We will definitely book again in the future if this house is available the dates we visit family in Fort Wayne.

Great Location

The house is very close to the Childrens Zoo, Science Central, Art Museum and Coney Island. Easy to get around Northwest Ft. Wayne. With unconscionably hot weather, the house was still relatively comfortable, air conditioners working overtime. The upstairs has the most remodeling, and has a large bedroom with both the King bed and a single, while there are two bedrooms on the main level, so you should take note that while there are beds for 5, there are only "really" 3 bedrooms. This is an older house with lots of charm.
