This property transports you back to a different era with its elegant decor. We wish the breakfast room had been open but do to COVID it wasn’t. The hotel still did its best to provide a tasty breakfast each morning.

Property is in a quiet place, room was very clean, service was very good. it has a cozy air. Didn't like the strong smell of cleaning chemicals, a couldn't draw the drapes to cover the windows

Bridgeport Fort Mac
Older hotel, could use a bit of updating, but still in good condition. Nice small boutique hotel adjacent to downtown, and close to most amenities. Also a bargain compared to most other Fort McMurray hotels!

The beds were nice however the overall room was dated with light mint green walls, Uggg. The property is way to close to the highway which made it very noisy and there was no proper baggage unloading zone.

It’s ok...
This was the first time I stayed at this hotel. When I first arrived I thought maybe I made the wrong choice. Outside appearances are definitely deceiving. When I first went inside I was a little dismayed with the smell in the lobby area. Very musty and old cigarette Smokey smell which kind of made me think I really did choose wrong. But the staff was friendly and checked me in quickly. When I got to my room it was freezing. Hard to control the temperature in the room but the room was quite lovely and bright and clean. And the bed was very comfy. Not much sound proofing however as I was awoken by people screaming at each other on the street below. I did have to change rooms the second night as there was a problem with the toilet flushing properly. My new room was just as nice and not freezing and I could control the temperature better. Continental breakfast that was available was average. Overall Its an okay hotel.

comfortable and friendly
we atended a xmas party at a restaurant across the street fom he hotel so very convenient. the staff are very friendly and in checking out we were given a box of chocolates as a little xmas gift. i thought that was a very nice touch.

Needs Some Work
The first room I was assigned the heater made an irritating noise and the door jam was warped and the door wouldn't close properly. I requested a different room and the front desk staff gladly gave me another room. Unfortunately, the mattress in the second room was worn out and like a hammock. I didn't realize it right away but after a few hours woke up and found it to be quite uncomfortable. The hotel needs some upgrading/refurbishing.

I was a little disappointed, the thermostat on the wall didn't work, but I did get the heat on using the on unit controls. The TV remote wouldn't work for volume and channel changing but this could be done on the TV. Very little outside signage and dark parking areas, but the room was clean, comfortable and quite.

Comfortable hotel with easy access
Good location to the downtown with walking distance to restaurants. comfortable bed and a full size refrigerator, which is handy. HVAC system was noise so i was glad the temperature was decent so i did not have to rely on it.
