"What an amazing villa, it had everything you need to enjoy your stay, our host thought of every little detail.The villa was immaculate and very well taken care of.The pool was fantastic, we spent quite a bit of time at the poolWe did walk down to the Fairmont, but we did not use the amenities as we felt a better experience could be had on the beach at several of the beach bars and rented chair chairs for 10 USDRecommending that anybody trying to get in and out of the secure gate be told that the button to open the gate on the inside is located approximately 20 feet from the gate, we really struggled, trying to get out, we thought the button was ON the gate and saw several of other guests with the same issueAnd one more thing, this is not a negative, but just a preference, I like my bed to be very soft and would’ve loved to have had a mattress topper, the beds are very firm, some members in our group enjoyed that, and some of us did notI have recommended this place to my friends that do spend a couple of months in Barbados every year and gave them a short little tour and they are planning to contact the host in the future to possibly book a stay.In conclusion, this is our fifth time we have rented in Barbados and I highly recommend this villa, you will not be disappointed!"

"The location is convenient, however, there were several important issues during and after our stay that future guests should be aware of. During our 12-day stay, nearby construction caused road closures on at least four separate days, making access to the apartment difficult at times. This was disruptive and not communicated in advance. On arrival, we noticed the refrigerator was leaking, with visible water on the kitchen floor. The downstairs area was extremely hot, and without air conditioning it was not realistically usable unless the back door was kept open. Unfortunately, the back door has no insect screen, which resulted in a significant mosquito issue. Fans alone were not sufficient to make the space comfortable. Regarding linens, four bath towels were provided, of which we used only one. An oil stain was later discovered. Additional towels were delivered promptly by the house manag; although they still had tags attached, they were visibly yellowed from long-term storage. After checkout, the host requested USD 1,500 in compensation, alleging damage to a grey bedsheet and wall marks. These issues were not raised during the stay and were not apparent to us at checkout. The property was used normally and with care, and these claims appeared to relate to wear, pre-existing conditions, or issues not caused by guest misuse. Based on our experience, future guests are strongly advised to carefully inspect and document all aspects of the property at check-in and check-out."

"Arrived to a clean, organized room with one king bed (two twins pushed together), small but useful kitchen, and nice updated bathroom. Open air patio/porch at the entrance was nice, albeit a bit buggy at night. 2 beach chairs, an umbrella and some other useful items for the beach or heading into town. Landscaped beautifully, local staff (housekeeping/landscapers) friendly and inviting. There is a large shared yard with clotheslines. 30 second walk puts you right onto the beach, but not before passing through Kirt’s Beach Bar. I highly recommend spending some time here. If you’re looking for some of the old school, do-it-yourself Caribbean vibes, then this refreshing escape is exactly what you need.The Studio’s proximity to beach, bar, dining, and shopping, its affordability makes it an extremely attractive option. Thats the good. The not so good:Construction. A resort is being built around the Art Studio’s grounds. With the right positive thinking you can just imagine it’s just containing your own private oasis! Things will get better, but construction noise started at 6am and sometimes continued until about 7pm. Not a problem for us, we were there with a baby so he had us up at 6am anyway. All in all, we had a fantastic time at Art Studios. We had family staying in another unit, and are already planning to come back with more family and friends renting other units together. We look forward to our potential return to the studios and Barbados!"

"Tropical Sunset fit the bill in so many ways- on the beach, has a pool, studios with kitchenette. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis. Adjacent to a good restaurant and located near to so many others. Across the street from a large supermarket with ATM inside. Balconies with each room overlooking the pool and the ocean. Just a lovely place with lovely people."
