Soggiorno Burchi is a no no
Close to the train station, sites of interest and places to eat and drink. The good bit. Accept what we paid was at the low end for the city however the premises were a disappointment. Decor and furniture were old. Room was cold and no additional bedding available to cover this eventuality. Bed was just acceptable. Bed linen and towels had seen better days. Towels especially as they were thread bear. Bathroom was smelly and suffered mildew. Shower was a squeeze but at least the water was hot. No curtains which were needed as the street light was on all night. A shame. Some re-investment would make a difference. Decor is at least 20 years old. Would I recommend or use again- NO !

Avoid this
The host were a very old italian couple and they cannot speak English at all. We had a hard time to check-in and they were arguing in front of us as they tried to sell us "upgrade" room (we did't fully understand what they said but they asked more money). The room was not clean and the window cannot be fully closed.

Homeaway no puede tener este alojamiento. La habitación no es como la foto. Es sucio, viejo, desastre de toallas. Lo único q ofrecieron como cocina fue una pava eléctrica para usar dentro del mini cuarto. Wifi no funciona en la habitación y hay q sentarse en el único sillón que hay en la entrada con olor a pia de gato. Los dueños dos viejitos que jamás los veía. Cuando quieran envió fotos

Location is great, but that's it.
Stood outside ringing the bell for 10 minutes and no one came to answer the door. Lucky another guest was leaving otherwise we'd have been there much longer. Once we got in we were "greeted" by an old Italian couple that didn't know we had booked in advance for three nights and paid already. They couldn't speak English and tried to put us in a room without a bathroom and insisted we were only staying 1 night. After half an hour of repeating myself I was passed to someone on the phone who could speak English who was telling me I need to pay. Not the best first impression after a 3 hour train from Naples... The room was ok but dirty bathroom, terrible shower and several squashed Mosquitos on the walls. Old, used towels that were stained too. Would not stay here again.

Interesting , people are friendly but make sure your Italian is on point. Small operation that has no front desk, mom and pop type hotel with little amenities but fun stay.

Great for a short stay
Somewhat difficult to find; strange number system. Great location near shopping and the train. The room was a good size, old style, charming. No ac but it wasn't hot yet so no big deal. The bed is hard so not the greatest night sleep but okay for a short stay.

Super friendly, perfect location.
The location is fantastic, a stone throw away from the station and main tourist attractions with amenities on your doorstep. The staff are the friendliest I have ever met and were willing to do anything to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The room was very clean and comfortable. Bare in mind this in not a hotel, so if you're expecting a traditional hotel this is not the place for you. But if you're looking for somewhere with a friendly atmosphere right in the centre of Florence then this is overall excellent.

Good for a Day's stay
Pros: Near to the station. The B&B owners are living in the same place so not a problem to connect with them incase you need something. Can enter at any time even late as they will be available. Shopping nearby & you can walk around to most of the tourist spots. Can keep the luggage even after checkout & pickup at anytime later. Cons: No gas stove to prepare tea. They don't allow you to use the kitchen. We requested for a electric water heater they gave us. Rooms & amenities a bit old. A/c didn't work as remote was not provided. So i had to keep the windows open all night for fresh air. Shared bathroom. No TV in the room. Loud party noise from adjacent building till late night 2 am.

When we got there, our first issue was the door wouldn't lock. The couple that owns the hotel doesn't speak English very well, but did their best at the time to fix the door. Our second issue was the air conditioning did NOT work. It was late at night when we noticed so had to spend the night in extreme heat. We let the owners know the next morning and they said they would call someone to fix it. When we returned that evening it was not fixed. We had 3 nights there and it was brutally hot and uncomfortable . We did not sleep for our entire stay. Our next issue was the shower did not drain. While showering you had to turn the water off about every minute for 5 minutes to prevent the bathroom from flooding. Overall, not the best experience and would not recommend. It's over priced at 100 euros/night.

Lovely place
Cute place! Everything from the room key to the furniture look vintage and old European, located on a lovely street with eateries and a cool mask shop, the owner welcomed us like we were her own granddaughters, and spoke enough English to make the basic things clear. Good wifi in the room.

Overpriced...mold in bathroom, did not provide breakfast although hotel description indicated such, A/C stopped working during the night, was offered the choice of either a desktop fan or air-conditioning - was not allowed both. Woman's husband started shouting and yelling at me and insisted that I could not have a fan and A/C, although the fan was setup in our room when we first arrived. Telephone extension for hotel was directly outside our room and phone rang until midnight. The woman and her husband spoke only Italian and continually yelled at each other. We went to another hotel one block away that was charming...Hotel Lorena.

We arrived there and were welcomed very nicely. The old couple who run this place are very kind but unfortunately I will have to point out some bad sides. The room is ok, but the AC that is listed is actually a small ventilator. The windows have nets for mosquitos but they are thorn and not helpful. The room we stayed in was supposed to be quite, but the man who is, I think the owner, is so loud in the morning that you can not sleep at all. The internet DID NOT WORK, so we had to go to a nearby hostel. And, it's bed and breakfast but you pay for breakfast and have to say in advance that you intend to have one. Good sides: The location is excellent, everything is near. Even the laundry place is in the same street as well as bars, cafes, small shops, market... We came by car and they provided free parking which was VERY helpful, since the parking in Italy is very expensive.

Chegamos ao hotel e simplesmente não havia uma reserva! O hotel estava fechado!!! Sendo que nós ligamos uns dias antes pra confirmar, e o dono de forma muito grosseira confirmou! Além, disso ligamos no site do hotel.com para confirmar a reserva e nos disseram que estava tudo ok!! Acho um absurdo você estar em outro país e simplesmente não ter a sua reserva! Os proprietários grosseiros, gritando o tempo todo acabaram ligando pro filho que nos hospedou! E indignada com o site que confirmou a nossa reserva!

Una schifezza L'unica nota positiva è stata la posizione in pieno centro che ci permetteva di raggiungere qualsiasi posto in poco tempo e il wi-fi che funzionava perfettamente Per il resto davvero una schifezza tutto molto sporco a partire dai capelli per terra dei viaggiatori precedenti a impronte di scarpe sui muri e il bagno che era impresentabile non esistevano luci se non una in camera nostra e per finire c'era una gran puzza di chiuso Il servizio è stato pessimo perché al nostro arrivo non c'è stato nessuno in grado di aprirci il portone da fuori ma per fortuna abbiamo incontrato un inquilino che scendeva e c'è indicato dove andare mentre nel giorno della partenza Ci siamo dovuti arrangiare scrivendo un biglietto su quando saremmo passate a ritirare i bagagli perché dormivano tutti in più ci sono stati dei problemi sul prezzo o meglio i due proprietari non riuscivano a capire quale fosse il prezzo da farci pagare mentre noi lo sapevamo perfettamente

Una esperienza orribile
È un ostello vecchio e fatiscente, molto sporco. Menomale siamo stati soltanto una notte. La copia di proprietari anziani continuava urlare ed litigare. Un incubo. Il bagno del autogrill è molto meglio di quello che abiamo trovato qui. Non avevano pulito nemmeno i pavimenti.

Mi ha accolto una vecchietta che non aveva neanche la mia prenotazione e poi il soggiorno un disastro ,perché mi ha dato una camera matrimoniale che non avevo richiesto non solo il bagno il lavabo era sopra il bide e cmq la camera il giorno seguente non hanno nemmeno buttato la spazzatura e la tovaglia per la doccia non l'hanno neanche cambiata in compenso la stanza era riscaldata . Poi ho chiesto alla signora cosa comprendeva la mia prenotazione e nemmeno il caffè mi ha offerto.

中央駅と中央市場が目の前で便利です。フィレンツェの街同様に、この宿の狭さと古さもひとつの持ち味になっています。とても感じのいいオーナー夫妻のもとで下宿生活を送っているような気分でした。中庭ではナイチンゲールが鳴いていて、毎日幸せな気分でした。

3連泊したのですが、タオル交換をされませんでした。タオルはシャワールーム置いていたのですが残念です。オーナーは、お年寄の夫婦で英語が通じないのでこちらの希望が伝えられませんでした。私は、次回は利用しません。

Underbar älskvärd liten hotellföreståndarinna som väckte oss med italienskt kaffe och sockerkaka varje morgon. :) Fantastiskt läge med minutlångt gångavstånd till kupolen. Mycket nöjf!

Excelente lugar... pero con un servicio deplorable
Es una casa típica italiana, con todo lo que ello conlleva, unis anfitriones de edad avanzada que no saben nada de tecnología y no aceptan el hecho que el pago se le realizó a la páginaby te lo exigen al llegar, se la pasan gritando por todo lo cual es muy molesto, y aparte te cobran 5 euros de impuesto de la ciudad, lo cual no está especificado en el precio, las instalaciones están muy limpias y la ubicación inmejorable, pero valoren!

È in una casa vecchia allestita con stanze per turisti. Molto rumorosa perché il campanello suonava tutta la notte e alla fine la signora non voleva accettare il pagamento con cc perché non voleva fare la ricevuta!

The location of the hotel is not easy to find. Actually its location is on the opposite side of that provided in the map showed by hotels.com, and it took me a long time to spot it in a rainy day. There is no big signpost to help you to locate the hotel. I stayed in a room with double bed for 3 nights. The cleanliness of the room was acceptable. However, this was not the room I expected. There was air-conditioner in the room, but you could not find the remote control! There was no TV in the room, which had been listed in the information (Nevermind, I didn't watch TV). The owner only provided towel and shampoo for 1 night, and did not replace them during my stay. The shower was terrible. I needed to wait 10 minutes to get hot water after turning the watertap on. The price of the room was definitely over-charged. I would stay in other hotels if I go to Firenze again.
