The room was great, staff were friendly. Overall a good place to stay. However, be aware, the B&B is located in a beautiful historic building and there are 77 steps to the door. After a long day of sightseeing, the steps were a killer.

Ideal location, a 3 minute walk from the Duomo and 20 minute walk from the train station. You must climb 77 steps to the top floor, providing nice views of the surrounding area. Self-service breakfast includes all the necessities. Spacious room (Giotto) with large en-suite and private deck. Wi-fi provided.

B&B on the top floor without elevator. Kitchen smelled like rotten or old food. We decided not to eat there for breakfast even though it was included. Came back early afternoon to find our door unlocked after cleaning services were there — didn’t really like that it wasn’t locked back up & I’m glad we randomly decided to return to our room & rest early afternoon. Rooftop was pretty to enjoy the sunset.

An excellent bed and breakfast right next to the oldest public building in Florence. The host was so kind and helpful. Breakfast was adequate and the rooms were charming. I quite recommend this bed and breakfast.

The room was clean and cozy with a nice view into a typical Florentian street. Room was very authentic with a beautiful wooden ceiling. Stuff was courteous and extremely helpful. Had a fun evening with the fellow travellers in the common area sharing our Italian experiences.

We felt right at home here, a perfect stay for a couple traveling (who got engaged in Florence this trip!!!) Gabriella was very friendly and chatted with us during breakfast. The breakfast is great and the rooftop is very nice to have. Be aware of the 80 steps to the top. We loved this place and will come back!

Perfect location

Perfect location, close to the Uffizi and many restaurants. II Bargello was very clean and comfortable. Susanne went out of her way to be helpful with taxis and restaurant reservations.

Loved my stay here - so comfortable and AMAZING breakfast! The terrace on the rooftop is also really quaint and has nice views of Firenze. Everything was so accessible and easy! Staff were there during the day from 8:30-2:00ish to assist with anything. Will definitely return!
