Lovely and stylish
Lovely hotel with a stylish interior. Very cosy and clean. I loved the view on Arno river through the window in my room. If you would like to explore Florence in style I would recommend to stay in this hotel to taste the atmosphere of this city.

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Principe. We stayed for 3 nights and very much liked the property. The location is fantastic, close to everything yet stay off the busiest area. The nicest part of our stay is the staff! Warm and showed genuine care to all the guests. Definitely will be back.

Great location, nice large room and very nice bathroom. Staff was great. Hotel rooms a bit dated and could use some updating. Breakfast was underwhelming for a 4-star hotel.

This place is amazing. Nice view to the river from the room, amazing breakfast in the garden. The service was the best I ever had, the whole staff were very eager to help with any request.

It is over 108 degrees (44c) outside and I was given a room with NO A/C. It was damage, the previous guest reported it. Room 18. After going to my room I talk to the employee that he is aware of that and they are waiting for a technician to fix it. Don’t worry I give you a tan now but your A/C will be fix. It is about 3pm, I come back at 9 pm and the room is an oven. very HOT, AC is NOT working and they want me to stay there. They didn’t offered a solution to my important issue. I mean is HOT and is my vacation. Well I have to contact Booking/Expedia for about an hour to try to solve this. Finally at 10:45 PM, I was given another room. My big dissatisfaction is. wHY you don’t tell me this at check in time, Why I need to suffer and go thru this in MY time! Why? You can be very nice and apologize a million times but that will not solve the issue and solution. By other hand the place is charming, very clean, the staff is attentive and location is great. Sadly I can’t be happy for getting that poor solution that at the end of the day I count rest and enjoy my stay.

I needed to stay one extra night before an official government meeting and the hotel I had reserved didn’t have room so I chose this hotel and wasn’t disappointed. It’s a 10 euro cab ride or a ten minute walk from the train station. The staff were very friendly. The room was very spacious and well equipped with amenities not found at all hotels (express machine, water kettle, slippers, safe deposit box). The room had a cute little terrace. A hardy breakfast was included, served in a very nice side dining room or you could eat in a cute little courtyard. The absolute highlight for me though was the rooftop. It had a nice sitting area and an amazing view of the city. I got the best pictures up there. The hotel I moved to is across from the train station C hotel Diplomat - convenient but definitely not the same view.

The staff tries to make your stay one to remember fondly. They succeed. The breakfast is very nice and the service is excellent. The front desk Team is helpful and welcoming. I stayed for 2 weeks and I would definitely stay there again.

Hotel Principe in Florence was nicely situated at the edge of the old town. Easy walk from train station and rental car agencies. The riverfront location is nice, but at least a 15 min. walk from most of the main attractions in the old city. Weigh whats more important. Short walk with a suitcase was preferred for us. The hotel is quite old, but reasonably updated. Our room on the 3rd floor overlooked the courtyard garden, which was nice and quiet, but I would chose a river view next time. The rooftop terrace is very inconvenient and wasnt used much. I thought breakfast up there would be nice, but 4 floors up elevator, then another on narrow stairs meant that wouldnt happen.

Great central location. Great friendly staff. Loved the breakfast. Highly recommend. We got a room with a balcony and it was lovely. If you want quaint Florence vibe (but still updated) this place is perfect. This is not a super new modern hotel, but the old School vibe in my mind was the allure.

Perfect spot in Florence!
The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The property is just lovely. We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the garden, the incredible breakfast and the resident sweet dog. Location was perfect. Room was quiet, comfortable and spacious. Make sure to check out the gorgeous view of Florence from the rooftop deck! Thank you to everyone at Hotel Principe for making our anniversary trip extra special!

Great location to explore the city. Next to the river Arno, most places you want to get to are only a 15 min walk. Station, Duomo, Ponte Vecchio etc all just 15 min walk. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms stylish and clean.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. This is a beautiful old building. Its a very comfortable place to stay. We were visiting Polimoda, the fashion school for my daughter, and this hotel was perfectly located.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Principe. The location was only 10 minutes walking from the train station. I’ve stayed closer to the duomo in the past and it was always so noisy and loud. This location was quiet and peaceful and still easy walking distance to everything in Firenze. The staff was very friendly at hotel principe. No enjoyed the breakfast every day with multiple options. The decor feels historic and charming. I also loved the rooftop terrace with lovely views of the river and the rest of Firenze! I would definitely stay here again!
