« Very charming little cottage. There was little room to set our things down but overall great little place. It was very clean and smelled so good when you walk in. I took my 22 year old daughter for a trip. The location is perfect - it is about 10 minutes from anything you want to do!!! The cats and chickens are adorable! Lovely gardens and flowers. Would recommend - very close to River Arts District. »

« Mountain Shadows is a cozy cottage nestled in the forest amongst a few other cabins but with enough privacy to let you lay back and relax. The house was well-equipped, clean and the hot tub was a welcome diversion after a long day out. This is a place I would definitely recommend to anyone. »

« We were not able to use the hot tub due to there not being enough water, which was a bummer. The hot tub appeared old and not very clean. Water pressure is not great if you want a good shower. The fireplace from the pictures didn't work either. I never heard back from the host after I messaged them about the hot tub. For the price, you might as well get a hotel with a working hot tub and good shower. »

« This was a great house. Very charming and cozy. All of the furniture and decor were antiques. The house was very eclectic. There was also parking on site which was great Location is very convenient for getting around, we were a short walk to all the great things that downtown had to offer. The owner was great and extremely friendly. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Asheville! »

« We have rented for many years. Homes, cabins, etc. This cottage was outstanding. We were perfectly happy with the stay. Very clean. Everything seemed to be new. Privacy fence around the entire backyard, which was great for us as well as the dog. Near enough to downtown but approx. 3/4 mile or more to walk. All level walking area, but the heat can take its toll. There is plenty of parking in town, so if walking is an issue I suggest the short drive. The owners of the cottage were available at all...
