The actual hotel and staff were great. The room was clean. Only one elevator was working so it was time consuming to have to wait. The area around the hotel was chaotic, dirty and extremely loud - it’s right beside The Underground. It was blaring music until 1:00 am for some sort of outdoor dance competition. There was no way to rest, and it was very frustrating. The building is surrounded by homeless which was unnerving when walking to the Mercedes Benz Stadium. You couldn’t get 20 feet outside the door without being accosted or yelled at or even followed. We almost ended our vacation early because of how uncomfortable the area made us feel. We love Fairfield, but will never stay at this location again.

The hotel itself was awesome!! The room we got was very clean and very nice! We stayed here to be close to the mercedes-Benz Stadium for the Kenny Chesney Concert. They were not prepared to handle the sheer volume of people that would be checking in at the same time for the same event. The elevators weren’t working, and we were sent to the wrong room initially. These were just minor hiccups. The staff was awesome at fixing the room issue very promptly.!! But having to either wait 15 minutes for an elevation is ridiculous, so we opted to use the stairs. All in all it was an ok trip!!
This truly was the worst experience I have ever had with any hotel. So many things were terrible. On Friday I checked in through their app and when I got to the hotel they told me the app does not work. I even went to the hotel early (around noon) to ensure there would not be any issues with my reservation. The clerk ensured me that there would not be any issues. After working an event I went to check in around midnight, I was told there may not be any rooms available. This had been told to me after I had to park a block away and walk through a bunch of people doing drugs and giving me glaring looks as I walked past. Then after waiting an additional hour I was told that they would have a room available for me. I did not even receive the type of room that I reserved (king size bed) and paid for. There was only 1 elevator working and on first attempt to gain access to the room the door would not open. I had to go back downstairs to be told there was a special way to open the door. The room was hot and made it difficult to be comfortable. It did not cool down until about 4:00 in the morning. At around 2 in the morning, there was a bottle that fell off the wall and broke, scaring me out of a sleep. There was no compensation for the issues that I had. I would not ever recommend this hotel to anyone.
We had to switch rooms because our room when we checked in it was as if the room was used just not so long ago: hair in bathtub, trashcan not empty, sink and mirror with lots of Residue and water drippplets everywhere, toilet paper almost gone, was crazy but we asked for new room and, Ms Ashley took care of us and gave us a new room new room was great!
The hotel has great acess to places to eat and sightseeing and is just across the road from the train station. All the staff were very helpful and upbeat. Having a water station on the reception floor was so good.
The room felt like it was an apartment suite. It was clean, designed well and spacious. The beds were very comfortable as well.
The breakfast was very filling and delicious.
Unfortunately, there was only one lift available so there was a bit of a long wait for a hotel with 17 levels.
I would definitely stay at a Marriot hotel again but next time in a place that doesn't have such rough surroundings.
When I arrived, Ashley was working the front desk and very accommodating. She did a great job, making the check in process very smooth and informative. She also did a great job providing recommendations and providing feedback about the surrounding area. Thank you to her and the team!

The elevator went out the morning we left and we had to hike 16 flights of stairs.
The hotel was beautiful. The view of the city was beautiful. The staff were very helpful And friendly. The only thing that sucks is how much parking is in the city
The hotel itself was good. Staff was very nice and friendly. The free breakfast was a huge full spread and better than any hotel breakfast I’ve ever had included! All rooms are suites which was really nice to have the kitchenette and the room was very spacious with a separate living room. Now for the not so great…. You can tell this is in an area that used to be very nice when the underground mall was open but it’s now not an area you want to be in after dark. There were homeless and street walkers
Constantly around the hotel, especially at the run down Payless shoes store directly across from it were large amounts gathered and camped. We were on the 11th floor so
We really didn’t hear them, but I’m sure If we were on a lower floor it would have been noisy and all Hours of the night due to the “activity”. We were very thankful and appreciative of the valet parking they had and 24hr security that were always watching our rental Car and monitoring the hotel Entry area so my family was safe coming and going. Also the hotel Is being renovated so there was only 1 elevator working which slowed us down a bit, but overall it was a good experience.

The property was clean and staff accommodated all our needs. The location was terrible and inundated with homeless people that limited our walking access. We had to Uber to move about. If the neighborhood had been safe, it would have been a nice walk around Atlanta
The staff is very helpful, but there is only one elevator causing a safety concern if an emergency happens. There is only valet at $50 per night! That is double the cost of the area hotels! They park your car in a cheap daily rate garage. Not impressed that this is a Marriott which I usually love.

Hotel breakfast was nasty. They ran out of oatmeal , waffle mix and muffin. The eggs were disgusting. We couldn’t eat any of the 3 days we stayed there. Valet parking was $50.00 which it’s extremely overpriced , you don’t get any other options because the area is unsafe. Full of homeless people. Very unsafe.
I always pick this property because of how close it is to underground and I work in mascarade and daiquiriville. Only thing, recently I have had to either switch rooms or having to bring up a portable fan because of air conditioning problems in building. Right now only one elevator works and it took forever getting up and down from the room, luckily this time it was on the 3rd floor so it was fine using the stairs… Also I have been trying to call customer service to see how come the security deposit always takes almost 2 weeks to come back, and this has happened to me the last 3 times that I have recently stayed at Fairfield.

It’s fine for a play to stay if you’re going to an event in the area. Clean.
Nothing crazy. I had no complaints.
I booked and paid for a room with ‘2 king beds’. I was told there are no king beds on the premises, only ‘Full size’ beds, which are smaller than Queen beds! Ridiculous! I will not be booking with Fairfield Suites or through Expedia ever again. What a scam.
The location of the hotel is sketchy. The Underground may have been a fun part of town at some point but today, it is abandoned with homelessness all around. We did not feel safe. The staff was nice and professional. The room was ok, the thermostat did not work so we couldn’t regulate the temperature making our stay very uncomfortable. I wouldn’t stay again.
Hotel is beautiful on the inside very clean and the rooms are spacious like suites. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I left a personal item and they were all so eager to help me locate it and it was located I am now awaiting for it to.be shipped to me,enjoyed my stay would recommend this hotel 10 times over. These are some pictures of the lobby and some pictures from my room view.
The Air conditioner in room 911 was not working, we tried to wait almost an hour and a half to see if it will work but nothing, we asked front desk for help and they gave us 2 portable fans to put in the room but also outlets were not working. They did end up giving us another room which I appreciate very much.
We stay in Fairfield almost 2-3 times a month so we’ll still be coming with you guys!
I just want to give my congratulations to the photographer. Photos are one thing and reality is sadly very different. it's ugly. The surroundings are horrible, ahh and as if that were not enough it says it has parking available, but it NEVER SAYS YOU HAVE TO PAY $50.00 per night. Now we just have to wait for breakfast tomorrow.
Hotel was very clean, the bed was really comfortable, and the staff very friendly. I did have two issues. The water was barely warm and the body wash in the shower was empty.
Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 4:00pm. Then when we arrived to our room- we had no heat and
Froze to death! We asked to be moved. They sent us to a room that the heater wouldn’t stop running and we sweated! Absolutely awful!!!
