"Such a lovely step back in time (in a good way). Beautiful antiques and very comfy beds. The highlight was our delightful breakfast. The best we’ve had in a long time. The lady (sorry, can’t remember her name) that checked us in and made our breakfast was a gem!"

"The property is even lovelier than the photos and it has everything you could need during your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped for any meals, super comfy bed, lots of wood for the stove, and very clean throughout. It was so easy communicating with the hosts and they are very thoughtful with their guests - would happily stay again!"

"We had a great stay at Sutherland’s Lake Lodge. We were a large group (6 adults and 6 children), and there was plenty of space. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook for a crowd, beds were comfortable, and we loved all of the outdoor areas (covered decks, hot tub, fire pit). There were a few little glitches, but Mike was very responsive and helpful which was great. The only downside was the road in, which is very rough if you don’t have the right vehicle/tires. Thankfully we all did, but be advised that winter tires (in winter obviously) are necessary to get to this location. Would visit again!"

"Liked, Loved the rental house lay-out. Ease of directions despite pea-soup fog on arrival after dark. Liked proximity to two provincal parks (< 20 mintes each). Central loocation for several "day trips" < 1.5 hours to most destinations). Even loved the next-door neighbors, 10 to 12 cows and calfs. Quiet, almost remote, little road traffic."
