"I have stayed at this hotel 3 times, it was bad but I kept going because of the staff at the restaurant, they were very friendly and helpful but staying last weekend was horrifying, amiss the bad weather and the fact that this hotel is in the middle of nowhere, bar and restaurant was closed and with no warning. I managed to book myself in a family room 😩, it was two single beds joined together with the most thinnest mattress, it felt as if you were lying on an empty spring bed. Fair enough the room was just been refurbished but only the walls and bathroom, bed was crap "

"The staff are amazing all friendly, cheery and helpful. The hotel has a nice homely feel to it, with a mix of modern and traditional styles. The grounds are immaculate and the rooms are clean and spacious. As for the food it is delicious and very reasonably priced. Will definitely return."

"We have just had the most incredible stay since the minute we arrived on Friday. The staff couldn’t be more helpful or friendly. Jasmine in the Spa is deserving of a special mention. As someone who rarely gets treatments, I was very unsure of myself she immediately put me at ease as well as delivering the most relaxing salt scrub. The pool afford fantastic views of the course and sea, which this weekend were wild with white horses racing to shore. The food in both eateries was exceptional, the burrata and blood orange and absolute revelation. And as for the cocktails, the perfect cherry on top- highly recommend the Smugglers Trail and the Slanj n Slainte. Thank you for an incredible stay, we are already looking forward to our next stay. "Massive party next door nothing was done loud music fighting arguing rang reception. A few times they went to room but it carried on reception this morning weren’t that bothered never stay my there again her attitude was they did leave after 1 am joke of an answer to give a paying customer who needs sleep as working away "

"Arrived to a luke warm welcome. The bedroom window was wide open, to air the room, which was damp. The reception area stank of cigarettes smoke. The carpets are so grubby, some steps the carpet is held together with gaffer tape. When we said we wouldn’t be staying because it wasn’t suitable and damp and in general disrepair. We weren’t offered any incentive to stay or give an option for a better room. This hotel would have been amazing in the 1980’s but has indeed lost all its charm. "
