Hi Curtis, It's a shame you didn't make any contact during your stay and chose to post a review afterwards. We would have been more than happy to resolve your issues if you had. Yes there were a couple of stains on the carpet, which have now been shampooed but we couldn't get a cleaner in there at short notice between stays. Nobody has access to the property during a guests stay, other than our hot tub maintenance company who have zero reason to switch the heat off and simply walk through to check the tub is in good condition. Again we could have explained that if you'd made contact but you didnt. All the best.

Thanks for the feedback Mel. Yes the bbq is about 4 weeks old. Occasionally the cleaners put the double sheets on the queen bed by accident which I’m guessing is what happened here. Let us know next time and we can get it fixed. The carpet gets pretty banged up during ski season but is on our list. See you again soon!

Thanks for your review. It’s a shame you didn’t contact us at all during your stay as we’d have happily rectified these issues. The BBQ has been replaced (and we could’ve swapped it during your stay if you had let us know it was an issue). The unit also had a full end of season deep clean. Next time hopefully you’ll make contact and give your host an opportunity to make right anything your unhappy with rather than waiting until after you’ve left.

You are right that our cleaners mistakenly left our unit off the schedule for the first time ever. Given you checked in after hours, they were not contactable that evening. I personally came and changed the sheets to the clean ones that were in the cupboard so your kids could get to bed (this was done by 7:30 pm but you chose to hot tub after this) and washed your sheets which I'd say would've been dry by about 9:30 pm. The property itself wasn't dirty, there was no rubbish, all the dishes were clean and the hot tub had been serviced prior to your check in. It was completely cleaned and all the linen changed a second time by our cleaners the very next morning. I tried to reach out to your husband a couple of weeks ago about compensation but didn't get any response as I guess you were more interested in writing a one star review than actually getting compensation. I did suggest that evening your only real alternative option given the cleaners were closed was to get a hotel & apply for a full refund but your husband chose to stay. All the best for the future. Hi Eric, sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your stay. We would have been happy to help whilst you were here but you didn’t say a word. We will speak to our cleaners (who are a professional third party cleaning company) about looking under the coffee table & behind the hot tub in the future. The bed in the master is 2 years old so not quite sure what the issue was there. I think you can see from our many other four and five star reviews and premier partner status that the vast majority of our guests enjoy their stay.

Hi Tim, sorry to hear you didn’t have a great stay, as you can see from our many four and five star reviews (and premier partner status) the vast majority of our guests have a great time and everything works. We are more than happy to resolve any problems guests have, if they make us aware. The guests that checked in the day after you left didn’t have any of the issues you mentioned. You are right that the unit doesn’t have air conditioning and nor do we advertise that. Sorry you had issues with the dishwasher but it does work, we would have been happy to help if you had contacted us during your stay. There was some food a previous guest had left, which our cleaners have now removed. The unit is not pet friendly so I doubt there was cat hair everywhere, and we would’ve happily had our cleaning company come and resolve that had you let us know, as well as the hot tub which is professionally maintained. Perhaps next time, let the property owner know you are not happy rather than saying nothing and leaving a two star review after you check out.
