Find hotels in Ferma from CA $50

The best area to stay in Ferma is along the main coastal road that runs through the village, particularly around the areas offering direct access to the sea.

This strip of Ferma is great for visitors looking for a relaxed beach holiday with convenient access to amenities. The main road, often referred to as the E75 or the coastal highway, connects the various hotels, tavernas, and beaches. You'll find many accommodations perched on hillsides, providing lovely sea views, and often with steps leading directly down to small, secluded coves or larger, organised beaches like Agia Fotia.

Couples looking for a tranquil escape will find Ferma particularly appealing. The area offers a sense of privacy and quiet, far removed from more bustling tourist hubs. Many hotels and villas here cater to a discerning clientele, offering facilities like private pools, spa services, and high-quality dining experiences, great for a romantic getaway.

For families, staying near the larger beaches, such as Agia Fotia, is an excellent choice. These beaches often have sun loungers, umbrellas, and nearby tavernas, making a day at the seaside easy and enjoyable.

The best time to visit Ferma is during the shoulder seasons of May, June, September, and early October.

These months offer pleasant weather with warm temperatures ideal for enjoying the beaches and outdoor activities without the peak summer crowds. You'll find the sea warm enough for swimming, and the local tavernas and shops will be fully open. It's also a good time for exploring the nearby hiking trails or visiting archaeological sites comfortably.

For those looking for the warmest temperatures and a lively option, July and August are excellent. The sea is at its warmest, and all tourist facilities are operating at their fullest. However, expect more visitors and potentially higher prices during these peak summer months.

If you prefer a quieter trip and don't mind cooler temperatures, April and late October can be lovely. The island is greener, and you'll experience a more local pace of life.
