"Don’t write reviews often, but this hotel is above and beyond. A 1906 structure that they just don’t build anymore, lovingly and beautifully restored, with 14 foot ceilings in the rooms!!! When was the last time you had a 14 foot ceiling in the bath area? The architectural features are of another gilded era, and brought back to life like it was yesterday. Service is excellent. Full marks."

"I loved the old school glam look of the lobby, and the room was clean, roomy, and comfortable. Staff was friendly, and the free wifi worked decently. I used the fitness room, and while it’s better equipped than small hotels, the one treadmill was better for walking than running, and the weights were lacking. I did appreciate the 24 hour access and the water in the lobby and the fitness room. I was also disappointed that I couldn’t guarantee an early check in, and that there was a fee involved. I’d happily return because the price makes it a deal compared to other large hotels."

"Great location, very walkable. My family loved the free breakfast every morning. Still gave 5 stars but don't book this for the pool, its tiny and you have to reserve it. Also, the parking is expensive but the lot around the corner is a great option. Still recommend for the value"
