"The owners did such a nice job at renovating this adorable motel. The rooms are very cozy and comfortable- pale green paint and wainscotting, white-washed ceilings and other stylish touches. They have really thought of every little detail to make the rooms special- a light up mirror in the bathroom, retro-looking fridge, nice wood and tile floors, complimentary local yogurt and granola- even a portable ironing board and iron are provided. Improvements? they went a little overboard on the 'antler' theme (although you could see that was just their way of having whimsical touches). Could have used a chair in the room. The bed- way too soft for our taste. But everything else was really nice and comfy. And the restaurant was really special- amazing food, very intimate setting. I highly recommend for a quick visit or an extended stay!"

Monument Mountain Motel

"The room was clean. Bathroom was newly renovated and plenty of hot water and towels. When the air was on in the room it was musty smelling but we were able to open the windows and have a nice cross breeze. It was a pleasant summer evening. The parking area was freshly tarred with no potholes or dips. Staff was friendly and kind. It made for a pleasant evening after camping for several days."
