"Clean"

"The window leaked so badly during a rain storm, it took 3 bath towel to soak up all the water. At almost midnight staff were bringing towels to us to clean up water. Floor in room was dirty, sticky. Black hair in shower. Breakfast buffet closes at 9:30 staff was cleaning and putting away items by 9:15 and asking guest to move out of the way. All ice machines were not working. The website and in-room materials falsely advertise a on-site bar and restaurant that has been closed for months. This is deceptive marketing. This is not the level of service I would expect from Hyatt. We talked to the manager Brendon upon check out. Told him that we were not happy with the level of service, cleanliness and the negligent maintenance resulting in a safety hazard, compromising guest safety due to water intrusion. He said there was nothing he could do as we booked through Expedia. I understand payment is with Expedia, but the experience is with Hyatt. I expected a proactive approach to this issue, rather than a strategy to avoid it. Our stay was dissapointing as the service level did not align with the the expected premium Hyatt brand."

"The staff were amazing. Super professional and nice. The room needed work. The bathroom shower was not fully cleaned and had men’s hair on the wall. The door looked to be kicked in because the parts were missing and the door would not fully shut."

The person at the front desk recommended a Mexican restaurant that was within walking distance, and it did not disappoint. The room was clean and breakfast was good. Convenient parking. "The 1st room was horrible. It smelled bad. When I pulled the blankets back to go to bed the were several black hairs and stains on the sheets. There were small pieces of chips in the cupboard. There were several small sticky spots on the floor. There were also brown spot on one of the pillows. When I went to the front desk to report the problems. I had to wake up the clerk. The she acted like I made the mess and was rude. She put me in a different. This room was a bit cleaner but still had its own problems. The stove top had a film over that was nasty and was easily scraped off. There was also a spot in the cupboard that looked like dried milk. When I brought this to the manager attention she said had spoken to the house keeper. The manager acted like I was bothering her."
