Although we had a lovely Valentine meal, we were in the public bar, next to the bar which was a bit noisy, table in the restaurant would have been preferred for a bit more privacy. Check in from 3.30 only but there’s lovely walks from the village to keep you busy.

You cloud hear the owl in the woods at night it was such a peaceful location.
We had a wonderful evening meal, a little more than we might pay at home but it was beautifully cooked and value for money.
Breakfast was equally delicious. I had the superfood breakfast. Sourdough toast. Smoked salmon poached egg scattered with mixed seeds. Lovely.
