La jeune propriétaire a l'accueil réservé sait donner la bonne adresse pour déjeuner ou dîner. Un gros chien Golden doux comme un agneau fait partie du décor. Je recommande, c'est la note romantique de fin de voyage. »

![I was fortunate to be invited to spend some time at the Mar-A-Lago ("mahr-ah-lahgo") Club.

 Built in  1924-1927 by Marjorie Merriweather Post and designed by Joseph Urban. When she died in 1973 she willed the 17-acre estate to the U.S. Government as a retreat for Presidents and visiting foreign dignitaries. 

The Mar-A- Lago  Club is currently a  private club owned by Donald Trump. Trump paid $ 10 million for the estate in 1985. After acquiring the property in 1985, Trump had the property extensively renovated, with 58 bedrooms, 33 bathrooms, 12 fireplaces ( because it gets so cold in Florida ), and three bomb shelters,, because....?.  The  estate also has five clay and one grass tennis court with a waterfront pool  and a  20,000-square-foot ballroom. The name Mar-A-Lago is Spanish for "Sea to Lake".
