Two of the bedrooms are located on the second floor and a third, with its own bathroom, on the third. Stairs are a bit of a struggle, if you're not used to them, but not a huge issue. Having a parking spot on the property was perfect, a convenience that made our stay. The property was clean with comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed. "Combined 2 Days in Dornoch Castle Hotel with 5 Days at Cottage in Tain after the wedding. The cottage has been modernised but still has some original features. "Very clean and comfortable house, walking distance to the pub two doors down, and an Esso/small grocery 5 minutes the other direction. The only two suggestions I have for the owners are to clearly state that bedrooms are upstairs and that there is no parking on the property itself (we used the canal parking lot down the street a bit).
