« Mountain Shadows is a cozy cottage nestled in the forest amongst a few other cabins but with enough privacy to let you lay back and relax. The house was well-equipped, clean and the hot tub was a welcome diversion after a long day out. This is a place I would definitely recommend to anyone. »

« How this property ever got numerous 10 stars is beyond my comprehension; very obviously fake reviews. The shower floor was nasty. There was what appeared to be black mold under kitchen sink. Floors were uneven and sinking in spots. Roof covered with tarp. Walls were particle board and mismatched pieces of scrap wood. Overall, we had to question the integrity of the home. Owner did not sent check- in info on day of until we called an hour after check-in time. Left shortly after seeing the place....

« this cabin, although it's from the 1930s has an older feel - it really reminds you of a settlers cabin. It's very comfortable and very clean. The host of wonderful and respond promptly to any questions you may have. The outside area is very private, surrounded by Rhododendron, and the patio furniture is nice! I'll definitely consider booking this place again for the fall to enjoy the colors! »

« Authentic mountain cabin. Wonderful location next to Pisgah forest. We fished, hiked, played Woofleball in the backyard, enjoyed the horses and relaxed. The bathroom locations in the house are not conducive to privacy as has been mentioned in other reviews but we managed. Alisha was very responsive to issues we encountered during our stay. Overall a wonderful vacation. »

"Bien placé. Chambre propre, déco sympa, mais peu d’espace. Pas de placard où ranger ses affaires. Lavabo dans la chambre. Peu d’intimité. Pratique pour une nuit mais peut être pas idéal pour un séjour plus long, Accueil agréable avec 1 bon pour une boisson offerte. Nous avons testé le restaurant, les plats étaient bons, le service était bien mais c’était assez bruyant. Parking à côté de l’hôtel."
