"We were struggling to find a hotel on our way to the Badlands because everything was already booked. We came across My Place Hotel in Mitchell, South Dakota, on Expedia and decided to give it a try. It ended up being a hidden gem. The price was very affordable for a Saturday night, especially compared to other nearby hotels that were already sold out. We stayed in a king room, and everything felt new, clean, and well maintained. One of the standout features was the nearly full kitchen setup, which included a full-size refrigerator and freezer, sink, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and stovetop. The bed was comfortable, and I especially appreciated that it came with two blankets, which is surprisingly rare. The pillows were comfortable as well, and our third-floor end room was very quiet. The hotel also offers ample parking and is conveniently located. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend My Place Hotel in Mitchell to anyone traveling through the area."
