Very nice place. They must have had bad experiences with guests bc upon arrival there were several angry-sounding notes about trash & towels needing to be outside by 11 a.m. and no early check-in. These messages could be said more nicely. In person the staff was very nice and friendly.
The cabin was perfect! The kitchen had everything that I needed to cook food. The fireplace gave it a cozy touch. They provided an oscillating fan which was nice to use in the afternoons. I absolutely loved sitting by the river and watching the different wild life. There is a nice walking path that is close by.There is a restaurant next door that is nice to eat at. The hot tub was clean and relaxing to sit in. The owner was super helpful with information.
We liked the property. Our cabin was right on the river. We had one of the cabins with a private hot tub, which was nice on the colder days. The cabin was very convenient to town and to the RMNP. The only note I'd suggested for travelers is to bring your own cookware. The pans were scratched up, so I didn't know if they were safe to use. I'm glad we brought our own cast iron skillet. We also used the grill on the deck, which worked well.
The cabin was very comfortable..sitting on the porch in the morning very relaxing as a flock of wild turkeys walkedby every morning and back in the evening. Close enough to everything yet far enough not to be distributed
The place was quiet, and peaceful. Just a couple of miles outside of town, towards the Northeast entrance of RMNP.
We arrived at approximately 5:30, and although the office was closed, our key and stay-paperwork was waiting for us.
Expectations may be different in the Summer season, but we loved the convenience and quiet of this place!
We saw wild turkeys in the driveway, right next to our car, and elk and deer, nearby.

The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The fireplace was broken but not a huge deall. Would totally stay here again. We are talking about a family trip with 8 to 10 of us.

This is our 2nd time to stay here and we have always loved this place— the location, the serenity, the views, the full amenities in the cabin. And loved the upgraded heated toilet seat too. Would recommend this to anyone who will visit Estes Park/RMNP.
