Sand Lake Log Cabin with Hot Tub

"The cottage was so cute and exactly what I needed for this weekend! Other than the fact that it was quite dusty in spots and there were quite a few spiderwebs the place was cozy and quaint! It’s just a short walk from the lake, the hot-tub is right off the deck, and the hosts left us a complimentary bottle of red wine which was a nice treat! The stairs are definitely very steep, I used them more like a ladder (going down backwards) and at one point the tv remote died, but the hosts have extra batteries in the kitchen drawer ready to go. (I just forgot to change them haha) I loved being able to turn off the air and keep the screen shut and sliding door open while I enjoyed working in the livingroom. It’s the perfect example of being set out in nature but still being able to enjoy certain creature comforts. The hosts left an array of spices, basic kitchen tools and staples (cooking oil, coffee, tea etc) Overall I will definitely consider booking here again next summer. The lake is only a short walk away and it was beautiful at sunset."

"Stuff was really helpful. Because so simple, but for the price of this room it is well worth it. Use the barbecue as well which is well maintained. Can't complaint much about the rooms with the price. Really happy with the stay."

"The house was lovely. The distance to the beach was perfect. Kitchen was nicely stocked with cookware and appliances. Very comfortable sitting area with TV. Would book again."

"The place was wonderful, it had absolutely everything you need to have an amazing vacation with your family or friends. The arcade system was a nice bonus, not just for the kids, but for adults. Based on other renters comments, I had to go beat some high scores in the pinball games.The hottub was cleaned frequently and used just as much. A wonderful backyard, deck and firepit area. Overall we had a great time!"

"Lovely modern place- lots of space in all of the bedrooms, the washroom with a new-looking washer and dryer, the kitchen and living room. Comfy space to chill & enjoy the large kitchen table if poor weather. Wonderful outdoor space- quite private. Amazing to have a patio table with umbrella for morning coffee and meals, plus a patio area with comfy chairs and a fire pit with lots of chairs! The hot tub was a definite highlight after long hikes and bike rides. Only complaint was that although the kitchen was fairly well equipped, some of the nonstick pans need to be replaced as they are in terrible shape. Luckily there was foil and parchment provided so we could still use them covered for baking. We had a few black bears visit the property which certainly suited the name!"

"This beautiful cabin offers views of the lake and everywhere there are windows and patio doors from which one can see take in the beauty of all mother nature has to offer. Peaceful, private : the large spacious cabin is first rate!! Very up market. We have so enjoyed our stay and we hope to come annually. Our host was helpful and our stay could not have been better. Enjoy!!!"
